Panzo got a 40 minute run out today on his Dijon debut. Did anyone see it?

Just to clarify, it isn’t Noni that has the Nigerian flag, it was added by the guy who posted the link and he’s Nigerian at a guess so I wouldn’t beat yourself up about it.

To answer the second part, that would be Benicio Baker-Boaitey who has joined Danny Loader there.

    An interesting one this.

Amrit Bansal-McNulty ('00) & Lewis Walker ('99) are currently both at Como in Serie C having left QPR. Bansal-McNulty has signed for them while Walker is currently on trial.

Lewis is Des' son by the way.

Malik Owolabi ('02) is currently at Serie B club SPAL in Italy. Not sure whether it's a trial or permanent move.

Born in England but moved to Canada at 13 where he played for Toronto before moving back to England earlier this year. Apparently also trialled with Chelsea not too long ago (@Juni are you able to confirm?) and had interest from Anderlecht.

Has been called up by Canada & Nigeria but only for various training camps.

Madueke off the bench early in the second half and got two assists to take the game from 1-1 to 3-1, pretty successful start to the season for him!

Really good work for the first assist:

    Second is even better:

Looks a talent. Hope gareth is keeping an eye on him. We don't want those pesky Nigerians thieving yet ANOTHER English player

  14. Depends on the ones he compares with in that 23 selection. If he's far better, than I can understand Roverman's stance.

Man, you really need to chill, you’re so paranoid with these Duals, lol

To be honest, it’s Boothroyd that should be paying attention but unfortunately I worry that players like Noni and Edwards in particular are not paying too much attention! He would rather play Premier League Squad players that hardly play above players playing in foreign Countries.

I understand the annoyance with me bringing this up but we have a small pool of young players compared to someone like france and it annoys the hell out me when tinpot nations like Nigeria eye every duel player under the sun.

Unfortunately that’s just the way it is and we will always have a smaller pool of players compared with other Countries due to our Geographical location and cosmopolitan society and there’s nothing in the short term that will change that imo even if we produce 100’s of quality players, say 90% will be dual qualified and we can only fit so many into our squads. I think the sooner we all except this the better for everyone’s health including my own. However for what it’s worth, I’ve no idea how France manage to keep so many when many probably won’t play for France but they seem to just stick around, if that’s us, no way that happens.

Ps: please stop calling other Countries tin pot Nations, it’s really not a good look.

I agree with you. I think it's only natural that countries like Nigeria look at overseas players to help fill their pool as they have even less to choose from then us. The only thing that annoys me about the African teams is they falsely report players switching over to them. They report false stories about players asking to switch when that's not the case atall. I find it very big headed from them that all they have to do is ask a player to switch and that player will come running.

Or in the case of Madueke & Musah, it should probably be Ian Foster paying attention, as both players will be eligible for the U19 qualifiers next month.

Yeah, my mistake that he can still play for the U19’s alongside Musah. Scary!
