whoscored's algorithms like him anyway https://www.whoscored.com/Players/383605/Show/Joel-Latibeaudiere
Hopefully he can make it, and will be the biggest enemy of the match commentators for a long time because of his name
Hello I am a new member to this forum I am planning on making a YouTube channel about British and Irish footballers playing abroad which will be called Footballers Abroad. I may even make a documentary about the history of British and Irish footballers playing abroad. I just wish for any of the forum users on this website to participate in a survey. I just wish to know how much interest there might be for a YouTube channel dedicated to British and Irish footballers playing abroad. The survey should be down below if there are any issues please inform me. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1...k3WFuZ7wEexcvC9CWaAGI8w/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1
I thought this might interest forum readers this interview about Bobby Duncan got released a couple of days ago regarding how Bobby is doing in Italy. https://www.violanation.com/2019/11...conversation-with-primavera-star-bobby-duncan Here are some clips of Bobby Duncan
Really bugs me when foreign football fans say 'uk' instead of England. England, Scotland and Wales are separate football nations. There is no effing uk
Does anyone think younger players should sign for foreign teams at a earlier age as Premier League teams see to give few chances https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/...-scouts-think-of-englands-teenagers-9gcdkvmxx
Does anyone think there will be a surge of English footballers willing to travel abroad due to Jadon Sancho success or is Jadon Sancho just an extreme outlier.
There already has been a surge in the younger age groups. It depends how much success this crop of players have.
I just hope the younger generation don't make the same mistake as British players did in the 1980's and 1990's. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xryvd5 https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xjyh6o
Think there already has been a surge of teenagers flocking to continental leagues. Sancho's just the only one to have made a success of it so may be a passing fad. I'm all for english footballers trying their luck abroad at the right time in their career but I think its better for them to establish themselves in the senior game first otherwise they just seem to progress even slower than in England or not at all.
It's not a passing fad unless the TV deal in England collapses. I don't think there's much evidence to suggest they can just establish themselves in the senior game first with any more ease than if they go abroad.
The hype of foreign teams buying English footballers by the UK media seems massively overstated a few German teams have had English players on loan or permanently signed. If English footballers are so in demand I don't see many major Spanish, French or Italian clubs showing any interest in young or established players. The only player to have had any significant impact abroad is Jadon Sancho. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-english-players-moving-abroad-jonathan-panzo https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47422209 https://sport360.com/article/footba...usses-english-players-abroad-and-2015-16-uefa https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/why-so-much-english-talent-is-going-abroad-fgd8bk7hg
Did you decide to commit to covering English players abroad before looking in to which English players are playing abroad?
I feel that a British/Irish footballer has to be a certain personality type to succeed abroad they either have to be very open minded personality or educated. https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/sport/2019/08/roy-hodgson-english-football-s-internationalist https://versus.uk.com/2018/08/young-black-british-players-suddenly-moving-abroad/ https://sport360.com/article/football/40154/interview-steve-mcmanaman-discusses-english-players-abroad-and-2015-16-uefa It is also important to learn the language and adapt to the culture of the country you are living in which many British/Irish footballers seem to struggle with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUUPRiA8CgE https://tribuna.com/en/manutd/news/3468465/
From a social and cultural point of view and also in terms of football background and style English and British are pretty much synonymous so what is relevant to one is relevant to the other. Why do so many petty little Englanders get offended by people mentioning UK or British on here when we all are? Geography , history and politics have made us all one and the same in most respects, we just got divided in to different footballing national at one point to give each other some opposition to play! Doesn't mean we all need to start talking about the pitiful efforts of our northern brethren to qualify for a tournament again finally!
You're right, unfortunately roverman is obsessed with hating the Scottish/Irish/Welsh, and every single time someone says "UK" he feels he must write things like that.
Is this another one of Greengrass's low quality troll accounts? 'let's talk about English footballers abroad' 'there aren't many English footballers abroad it only hype' 'English footballers are not cultured and educated enough to play abroad' OK then.
