What teams are going to be able to afford the price Dortmund will set for him.

Hopefully he will bring his goal scoring boots with him to Qatar.

He won’t unless Southgate plays him further forward instead of asking him to play in a pivot with Rice.

That could end up turning Bellingham into a player who gets the tag of being good for club rubbish for England. A label that does a lot of damage for some players confidence.

Another assist for Iling-Junior tonight, although the goal was all about the finish.

He was on the receiving end of a nasty challenge towards the end & was pretty much a passenger for the final 5 minutes as Juve had run out of subs. Hopefully just an impact injury & he'll be fine because he's on the verge of a breakthrough there.

Which means he won’t have the opportunity to play for the main team again until after Serie A returns in January. Lots of rumours Allegri will have been replaced by then as their manager.

I think he's shown enough to be in consideration no matter who the manager is.

Probably but new mangers often seem to limit how much playing time youth get.

Lookman doing well in Italy this season. He'd have had a much better chance playing this World Cup sticking with England as it turned out. Not a lot of young attackers ahead of him.
I see Nigeria's latest manager not getting paid after half a year in the job which is par for the course. Why exactly does anyone sign up for that role is beyond me? Charity for third world Africa?

Apparently Illing-Junior only has eight months left on his current deal with Juventus and whilst they want him to sign a new deal, he has admirers from teams in the Premier League, Bundesliga and France.

‘They do so amid huge interest from the Premier League and clubs in Germany, Italy and France. Bayern, RB Leipzig, Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt are all known to be interested alongside French sides PSG and Monaco.’

Let’s just hope he doesn’t come back to the Premier League too early and get ruined by some Club.

No great mystery, is there? Six of their last ten coaches have been Nigerian. Of the other four, only Berti Vogts had anything like a global profile, so for the others it's an opportunity for a fairly obscure coach to work with talented players and potentially go to a World Cup.

I'm quite sure.....given his cv....Senhor Peseiro is quite capable of finding employment managing talented footballers...and getting paid for it at the same time!

After around 7 months out with a fractured hand Charlie Setford made his return for Ajax today, keeping a cleen sheet for their U18s.

Coincidentally, on the bench was his younger brother Tommy Setford who himself was involved for the first time in two months, after recovering from a broken wrist.
