Considering it’s his first start for Dortmund at the tender age of 17, I thought he did really well and had some good moments throughout the game. Lovely pre-assist ball to provide Halland with his hat trick goal.

Agreed thought he played well, I don’t know what Dortmund’s injury situation is like, but he did well enough to merit another start next week.

That would be brilliant. I think I'd hoped for slightly quicker progress at Villa this season but, to be fair, the contract situation might be holding that back.

Another really nice goal for Marcus Edwards for Sporting, 3 goals 3 assists in about 520 minutes of playing time since he joined on deadline day in January. Think he’ll be a mainstay in the team next season, could be a very big season still only 23.

Back with the U19s, Iling-Junior is into the league semi-finals. He produced an incredible assist for their 92nd minute winner.

Nice to see this trio make their way to Italy and have medals to show for it.

First time I can recall a European club final with both non-Premier League sides featuring a player from England, Reiss Nelson was on the losing side for Feyenoord. Maitland-Niles on the bench for Roma also.

More English players started last night’s final than will likely start the CL final featuring an English side.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens has won the U19 Bundesliga with Dortmund. He scored the equalising goal before they went on to win 2-1.

He also gave an interview, partially, in German which is very impressive. Don’t recall Sancho or Bellingham ever doing so.

Sancho started speaking English with a slight German accent. Bellingham has been learning German but I can’t find any clips where he actually speaks it.

Charlie Setford has undergone surgery for a broken wrist & will likely miss a considerable chunk of next season. He broke it a few

Earlier this week he was named Ajax's Talent of the Season.

According to reports Jonjoe Kenny is likely to head off to Hertha Berlin after his release from Everton.

Did well at Schalke, I think his stock in the UK after his recent Celtic spell and this season at Everton means he'd be unlikely to get a Premier League club.
