I thought Slough (42) was crap when i lived there, but it turns out that London (17) is twice as crap!
My questions are 1) where's Newcastle, and 2) where's Sinner to give his "lol. stupid yank. don't know the difference between England and Britain" lecture?
Well, I can only answer one of them. Newcastle aint on the list cause it aint crap Now Sunderland..........I cant believe thats not on the list it should be top!
What did they base their list on, it's a load of shite. I could name a shitload of places worse to live than the majority of places on there. Tipton being number one.
What about Doncaster? Wallsend? The "new" towns? Those surely deserve to be on the list more than St. John's Wood. I mean, that's the home of cricket!
It is afterall a list of the worst places to live taken from a book (and incidentally it is the UK as a whole, not just England) and the choices are entirely their own on how they feel. I've spent six years in one of the top ten, and it is safe to say it isn't one of the worst places in the country to live.
Newcastle is nice........apart from Byker, Elswick, Cowgate, Blaklaw, Scotswood, Monkseatson, Fenham, Newbiggin Hall, Medowell and Shielfield. Wallsend is part of Newcastle (well North Tyneside if your beeing picky) It's nice me gran lives there and it has a Co-Op and a KFC. It's also produced some of the countries best players at Wallsend Boys Club-Shearer, Gazza, Carrick, Watson and Beardsly to name a few.
How can they have london and slough! they cant have a city like london and not norrow it down! the size of slough compared to london! crap!
Where the hell is Bedford ?. Believe me, that deserves to be on the list. And which Newport are we talking about ?.
Neither Sunderland nor Smogland made the list but there must be an awful lot of sad towns in England.
I've scanned the list a few times now and can't find Shepton Mallet on there. I can only imagine that the surveyors wanted to stay away altogether. I'm well aware that very few of you will know the place, but for those that do i'm sure you'll understand.
