Bizarre to award that when the season hasn’t finished. They’ve already awarded goal of the season when there’s 3 matchdays left, plus playoffs!
Player of the Year slightly before the end of the season isn't a big one, as you've got over 90% of the games played and the best players at this point should be obvious. Maybe if it's really close and one player then scores 7 goals in the last 3 rounds, but we're talking exceptions here. Awarding goal of the season at this point, however, is flat out bonkers.

The crazy situation that has put Harvey Elliott’s promising career on hold - stuck at nine games for Aston Villa on loan - is deeply frustrating on a human and professional level. It looks even crazier given the struggles of Villa’s squad players against Spurs. And also…— Henry Winter (@henrywinter) May 3, 2026
Worth mentioning Iroegbunam. Another good showing from him and he seems to be getting better and better. He's always had the raw ingredients, it's just about putting them together now. He's still a bit green but I can see him hitting another level next season.
#MUFC offered to host FA Youth Cup final at Old Trafford, with #MCFC unable to schedule at Etihad. City declined, insisting on 7,000-capacity Joie Stadium. Major disappointment at missed opportunity for similar scenes to 2022 final when 67,000 attended ⬇️https://t.co/GKgK2Rd6Vl— Laurie Whitwell (@lauriewhitwell) May 6, 2026 This is beyond short-sighted from Man City. I don't know how they think playing in front of a massive crowd at Old Trafford wouldn't be more beneficial than playing in front of a tiny crowd in their academy stadium for their youngsters, even if it meant they lost the final. Not that the result isn't important but preparing players for senior football is the most important thing at youth level. The experience of potentially playing in front of a huge crowd at Old Trafford would be invaluable. Playing an FA Youth Cup final in that naff little academy stadium completely devalues the occasion compared to what it could be imo.

He thinks an interpreter women who ot seems was even st the hospital as his partner gave birth. That must be an experience and is probably why quite a few partners of footballers go home to give birth.
Of course its challenging, but I guarantee the help and support they get is better than pretty much 99% of people moving abroad for work.
