Manchester United are considering signing Sunderland's English goalkeeper Anthony Patterson, 24, to be an understudy to Andre Onana. (Sun)
Cameron Archer just scored a nice goal for Soton against Arsenal. Great for him but not if you're someone desperate for Arsenal to win the league instead of City or Liverpool!
Michael Cooper has only conceded one goal in seven games since his move to Sheffield United. Six straight clean sheets.
A quick and not too encouraging update on Charlie Patino. He's been on the bench for DLC in LaLiga2 10 times this season. He's made one 7 minute app and one 45 minute app (presumably for an injury). A disappointing trajectory for a player a lot of us had big hopes for.
Jude Soonsup-Bell who made the move to LaLigue 2 like Patino scored his first goal in the Copa Del Rey. Like Patino only has 45 mins in the league, but encouraging to see him score in his first start for Córdoba.
1853337816471621836 is not a valid tweet id I always wondered what happened to Reece Oxford in terms of hardly seeing him play for Augsburg these days and always injured. After reading this I guess you could say he’s had rotten luck as it appears he’s had long covid which affects his muscles, hence why he’s not playing. Not sure how long this lasts for though but hope he can revive his career eventually.
Leicester will monitor Jack Clarke's struggles at Ipswich but they face a fight to do a deal for him this season. (The Sun)
One of the unluckiest players in recent memory. There's still not too much understood about long Covid and it can vary greatly from case to case. Some people get better around the two-year mark but there are many people who have been suffering from it since the very start of the pandemic and still are today.
I work with a bloke with long Covid. He got the full fat Covid at the start the Pandemic. He has all types of things wrong still.
