Thought I'd start a thread where we can post updates of players that are no longer in our system or not good enough for a senior call up etc

Tino Anjorin to Portsmouth on loan in League One. Too old for the u21s now and his career looks destined to be in the lower professional tiers.

Balogun to Monaco for £35m, probably a disappointment to the American rags and fans that were touting him as future £100m player.

Yeah I think most thought he was going to a UCL club, don't Monaco are even in Europe Will be interesting to see how he gets on, I saw the Monaco announcement video (NASCAR vehicle pulling up at there stadium) on twitter, I wonder if they know he's from North East London not Alabama.

Will be interesting to see how he does long-term. Every coach that has seen him up close has preferred Nketiah to him, but maybe he just hasn't quite developed physically enough to compete at the highest level yet. That second tier of strikers usually take quite a long time to get close to their peak level.

Yeah, I don't think that you can write him off hitting some big heights but I'm not sure that Monaco was the level a lot of the American fans were expecting. I think they were expecting at least somewhere like Inter Milan but then he has become very overrated by their fans.

Tbh I see that move the opposite way. They get to keep hyping him as world class because he's going to a weaker league - that they've all decided is a stronger league - where he'll play regularly and bang in 20+ goals.

If Saints bounce straight back up, hopefully we'll get to see Patrick Roberts fulfil his immense early promise.

Reading were on Sky this evening. Nelson Abbey their Captain, goalkeeper David Button, plus former Chelsea academy lads Ben Elliott & Sam Hutchinson also starting for them.

Femi Azeez played, although he was never involved with England. It did leave me wondering what's happening with the career of his young brother Miguel, who seems to still be contracted with Arsenal...

On the Reading bench; Coniah Boyce-Clarke & new signing Clinton Mola. I guess Jeriel Dorsett & Ovie Ejaria are injured. Anyway Cambridge took the three points with a late winner.

Azeez is exactly the style of player that England need. He also looked like a top prospect for England in the youth sides. It looks like his career is struggling though. When on loan at Wigan the manager basically said he wasn't training hard enough to get in the squad, similar to what Ten Hag said about Sancho. He only played 450 minutes across his two loans in England. Still only 20 but looking like a bust relative to his early promise.

Not exactly under the radar if you're a championship fan but it suprised me that Jack Clarke had such minimal involvement with the England set up.

Some quite sad news as it emerges Ben Cull reintegration at 17 due to a battle with cancer which is still ongoing now.

Lewis Cook starts again for Bournemouth today. I remember when he was seen as a future England captain, although that was around the time when England's youth sides started getting good. He still remains one of our most successful youth players with over 50 caps with a u17 European Championship and u20 World Cup.

Flo Balogun on the bench again for Monaco. It seems early on that he's second choice to Ben Yedder which is a surprise for the £100m man.

Maybe rested after cross continent travel?

Of course Ben Yedder might not be available for much longer - what with facing a trial for sexual offences.

Louie Barry, once one of the big talents among the impressive '03 group is currently off to a good start in his League 2 loan with 5 in 8 games. He's really struggled with his two League One loans so far but he's still pretty young and those levels can be very difficult if you're still developing physically. If it keeps clicking I expect he'll get at least another League One loan in January, possibly even championship if he keeps scoring at this rate.

Could be one to keep an eye on as a late contender for the under 21's next season if he can build on it at higher levels, particularly given none of the under 21 strikers are doing much at senior level thus far.

Jack Clarke gets better every week, he is a seriously good prospect now.
Much more than just a tricky winger, he is in a free-scoring form.
