Lotte Wubben-Moy has been called up to the England senior women’s squad.

The Arsenal defender is part of the squad who are preparing for home fixtures against the USA at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 30 November and Switzerland at Bramall Lane on Tuesday 3 December.

Maya Le Tissier was diagnosed with concussion after Sunday’s Barclays WSL game. She will miss the meeting with the USA and will be assessed at her club as she progresses through the 'return to play' concussion protocol.

London City Lionesses goalkeeper Emily Orman has been called up to the England WU23s squad for the first time, replacing Southampton’s Kayla Rendell who has withdrawn with injury. Emma Coates’ side first play away in Norway on Thursday before welcoming Sweden to the Eco-Power Stadium, home of Doncaster Rovers, on Monday 2 December.

Hanged on at times there but a draw against the USA is still a decent result. The lack of subs through - only Kirby and Kelly coming on for Naz and Park is a bit annoying for a friendly.

‘England WU23s captain Missy Bo Kearns has withdrawn from the squad and will not feature in the upcoming matches against Norway and Sweden after suffering a concussion during training. The Aston Villa midfielder will return to her club as she continues to follow the ‘return to play’ concussion protocol.’

very disappointing out of Wiegman, playing mainly defensive setup while only using two subs. But then she’s usually been a better tournament coach and hen friendly one

hard to know where to turn to for goals; the top 4 positioned attacking players(Naz, Park, Russo & Mead) only got 7 league goals between them so far this season

‘Brooke Aspin sustained a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament whilst playing for England WU23s against Norway on Thursday 28 November. The defender, who is on loan at Crystal Palace from Chelsea, will return to her clubs for her rehabilitation. Brooke has the support of everyone at the FA and associated to our England teams and we wish her all the best with her recovery.

Tottenham defender Ella Morris has also withdrawn from the WU23s squad after picking up an injury in the same game. She will return to her club to undergo a period of rehabilitation.

Jasmine McQuade and Jess Simpson have been called up to the WU23s for the first time, with Arsenal’s Freya Godfrey also making a return to the squad for the upcoming match against Sweden at Doncaster Rovers on Monday.’

Chloe Kelly and Fran Kirby have withdrawn from the England senior women's squad to face Switzerland on Tuesday. Kelly sustained a concussion and Kirby a calf injury, both occurring at the conclusion of Saturday's 0-0 draw with the USA. The pair have returned to their respective clubs for ongoing assessment and rehabilitation.

The 23-player squad have arrived in Sheffield yesterday ahead of the meeting with the EURO 2025 hosts at Bramall Lane.

A boring match that was today. At least it was a win.

Wales have made their first tournament and managed to beat Ireland in Dublin which I didn’t expect.

Football Association figures show 129,000 more pupils have become involved in schools football across host cities of Euro 2022. Also been an increase in female coaches and referees.

Lost last U19 qualifier to Poland unfortunately. England led on corners (11-2) and attempts (25-6) although for latter it was only 7-5 on target.

Despite beating Italy & Turkey and only losing by a one goal margin against Poland, still ended up in Pot3. At least U17 side are in top pot, they'll want to avoid France from second seeds.

Only saw first half against Switzerland but it was nice to see some new faces. Mace and Blindkilde were making their debut in a side with an average age of under 24. Thought Esme Morgan and Grace Clinton looked like they belonged at that level.

I also assumed Ireland would get the job done in Dublin, particularly given they were at the World Cup last year. Noticed 5 of the players that started for Wales are actually from England.

Draw for the tournament is on 16 December and apparently BBC will be broadcasting that.

Clinton really should in’s torng contention to be starting the major matches and at the Euros. Morgan has been around a while and went to the World Cup but still rarely gets minutes when it is a many first choice players as possible match so I’m not sure she will make it to first choice starting unless others are injured.

Good to see Niamh Charles back for Chelsea- probably the only outfield player who was not in either camp this autumn with a realistic chance of going to the Euros.

Alex Greenwood taken off with suspected serious Knee or Ankle injury. Fingers crossed it’s nothing too serious.

Lily Murphy scores in UWCL. She might make a big jump at international level and quick. Pacy option that gets in goal scoring positions.

BBC saying Alex Greenwood has what looks like a serious knee injury. Very worrying news.

England falls from #2 to #4 in latest FIFA rankings. I feel it’s more to Wiegman not being a very good FIFA open window coach compared to being an excellent tournament one(basically has more time to prepare her squad)
But as far as Euros go, injuries can be a problem, and with woso becoming stronger every year, it’s becoming harder to return to pre injury form

‘Manchester City boss Gareth Taylor speaking to BBC Two about Alex Greenwood's injury: "I think it's not as serious as everyone feared, I think with Alex being stretchered off. We're still awaiting conversation with the consultant just to find out what the time frame looks like."

Former City captain Steph Houghton said she has spoken with Greenwood: "She's doing ok. You know what she's like. She'll be absolutely devastated to be missing football games but the main thing is she's positive. She's in a lot of pain now but at the same time she is just looking forward to getting back on the recovery." ‘

Very tough group. Don’t feel confident at all of making the QF’s.

Unless we had got lucky and ended up in the Swiss group then it was always going to be a good group. All the other groups are tough. The host nation always seem to get a nice draw.

Every team in our group is beatable. That is not saying we are going to be able to do it but I can’t see why we should be worried to play any of them. We did great against France in France very recently. Just need to get it right come tournament time.

Main worries are going to be the deficiencies in the current squad. Like full back and wider areas. I’m more positive after a few options have stepped up in the WSL recently.

The only team to truly fear is Spain who we will avoid until at least the semis. Every other team is of a similar standard or a bit lower imo.
