Wouldn’t class the Olympics as prestigious.. I think only 3 European teams qualified for that too which seems strange( only 12 teams competing in that competition)

It’s seen as prestigious.but because the IOC won’t extend to 16 like the Men’s because they have a strict overall quota size. However not qualifying is not too bad because of just 3 places and how tight it was.

The Euro play offs if we finish third are fairly stacked in favour of those who finish third, It’s finishing fourth where things will get very dicey,

That was a poor game. I’m sad to say it but Lucy Bronze is showing her age now. Subs did well without scoring so I hope some of them start.

Didn’t think Bronze was that bad to be fair, the other flank was worse in my opinion. Was better once Kelly, Mead and Toone came on though. Shame they didn’t show the same aggression and intensity as they did in the last 15 mins compared with the rest of the game.

The goal sums this team up at the moment. Bronze screws up marking the back post and Earps should probably still save it but ends up in an awful position (pretty much behind the goal line). Gifted them a 1v1 too.

Do you guys think the best women's national teams (Spain, England, USA etc) could beat the worst men's national team (Sri Lanka, Anguilla, San Marino etc) in a game?

No. The USA senior women’s team lost 5-2 to Dallas mens U15s in 2017. The physical gap is too great.

Solid enough win against Ireland. No surprise it looked better with Leah Williamson back in the team. Now for the double header with France at the end of next month and finish with a trip to Sweden. Will need to raise their game if we're going to qualify automatically.

The U19 were trailing against Italy today but came back to win 4-1! Really looking forward to seeing how they and the U17 team do at the European Champs this summer.:)

We join France and Spain as the only three at both the U17’s and U19’s. Germany didn’t make the U17’s for only the second time ever.

Rachel Daly has retired from internationals. Big loss because of her ability to cover two very different positions. Be interesting to see who gets her spot in May? Beth England? Nikita Parris? Aggie Beaver - Jones? Katie Robinson. My guess is Beaver - Jones

Footage of all three of their qualifiers against Switzerland, Portugal and Italy is currently on Youtube.

    Qualifiers (open)

Last 70 minutes against the Swiss.

    Full game against Portugal

    Highlights against Italy

So a new name on the (female) trophy then. Manchester United only made their first FA Cup final last season and Spurs have never got to this stage before.

Hopefully be a good attendance. Most Women FA Cup finals at Wembley have been in the 30-50k range but they did get almost 80k for the last one.

Unfortunately they is a clash on the final day between that and Men’s Man United match at old Trafford which might dent attendance a little bit. Spurs should break their record fan turnout through of 20/21k.

Sophia Poor made her first WSL appearance for Villa off the bench. Looked quite promising for the England youth teams.

She is likely to have to start the next three matches it seems as their n.1 is injured for the rest of the season and their n.2 set to be suspended for the next three matches.

England manager Sarina Wiegman has been given an unexpected headache ahead of the next round of international fixtures after a spat between Chelsea's Lauren James and Manchester United's Mille Turner threatened to cause a split in the squad.
