The crowd size difference from when they play in England is quite somethiing.

For me those dispossession stats are just the result of a 20 year old being positive, trying to impact games and not simply taking the easy option. Grace Clinton's been terrific again in the first half of this Italy game alongside Walsh and Stanway. We're three nil up and she's helping us press the life out of them from midfield.

Good half from England. Some missed placed passes at the back. But overall a very good.

Very tough qualifying group. Ireland the best of the promoted teams and Sweden the best of the play off teams. Need top two to automatically qualify for the Euros.

How the ******** did the 3rd 4th and 5th best teams in the world get drawn in the same group?

Have they changed the qualifying format for the Women's Euros, this looks to be Nations league format type grouping.

Uefa’s rankings can be quite different than FIFA, but surely 3 teams get to qualify for the Euros?

Yes. The top two teams in the four League A nations groups automatically qualify for the Euros. If not they are playoffs. Only the lowest ranked team from League A can play another League A team in the playoff through. The first round will be League A vs League C teams then the winners vs mostly League B teams,

Home and Away play offs with seeded League A teams mostly at home second leg.

There was talk of players being rested but with this group I doubt it. Matches in April, June and July. Playoffs in October and November.

Sweden finished third in their nations League group and therefore ended up in Pot 3.

So its basically a 2nd addition of the Nation League. Just looking at this Ireland will have a very difficult chance of qualifying (they might have well have stayed in group B) which is why I hate this format.

We don’t play France much competitively. That will be an interesting challenge. A bit worrying to play top teams back to back in this format after that last Nations League campaign.

The team was embarrassing at dealing with key moments. Stuff like needing to settle for a draw to help their group standing but losing the match. Wiegman overplaying players that were really struggling (Stanway in one game).

The League A teams have a big advantage in the playoffs through which helps. The depth of talent among the League B teams probably means only the three relegated teams, Wales, Portugal and Scotland woukd be expected to have a decent chance of being to beat a League A team in a playoff. (The Fourth is Switzerland who have already qualified as hosts) It’s hard to see the League C teams beating the League A teams.

In the promotion playoffs between the third place in League A and second in League B Sweden thrashed Bosnia, Belgium thrashed Hungary and Norway thrashed Croatia. Only Iceland v Serbia was competitive.

Looking at that U17 squad, injuries seem to have been minimal, most of the best players available.

Any streams for these youth qualifiers?

Guessing the last fixture against Italy will be decisive.
