Being that it's 2:16AM here on the East Coast, I have FSC on my TV and Sky Sports News from England. I just heard in May USA Vs England. I pray to god this is going to happen.

How cool would it be to see both Donovan and Beckham hit a century in the same friendly?

I've been thinking for awhile that with all that is going on in England that a US vs. England friendly would be the perfect forum for Becks to get his century. Didn't realize that it would be Donovan's too.

Can you imagine the hype in England and in parts of the US for Beck's 100th?? It would be enormous. Plus it would give our guys a quality game to get more experience in.

Playing England would be nice, it's been a while and the 100th thing for two players would also be a nice touch.

In years past, I would like our chances against England but under BB, we better stick to 2'd tier teams like Mexico or run the risk of showing the world how weak we are these days.

Also, the team I would really like to see us play is France. We never seem to play them (at least in recent times) and if we were ever become competitive again, that is one team I would LOVE to see us beat

we should stay away from england and stick to second tier teams since our coach, bb, is producing a weak usmnt. but you'd like to see us play france.

france is better than england!! that's nonsensical!!

Is this the top five team that Sunil mentioned? I know they're technically not top five, but they are one of top five draws, I'm sure, and I didn't take Sunil too literally.

No, this is the top 20 European team that there was a 50/50 chance of happening...the top 5 match was home (northeast) and most likely Argentina

It would be wonderful timing to have Beckham get his 100th cap at Wembley playing against the USA. It would be even better if he shared in England's humiliation at the hands of FulAmerican Premier league bottomfeeders and third rate MLSers... :>)

The stars are aligning for this match. Who just bought out Umbro? Hmmm.....that would be Nike. Guess who is a major sponsor of the USMNT? That is right, Nike. I was just talking about Beckham getting his 100th cap against the US last night. I should have bought lottery tickets.

This is not an international date, right? So, in theory, LA wouldn't have to release Donovan or Beckham if they were called up.

Just released - LA Galaxy late May friendly tour!!!

    Thurs 5/29 @ Barnet
    Fri 5/30 @ Leyton Orient
    Sat 5/31 @ Brentford

Beckham contracted to play 89 1/2 minutes in each match. Who needs days off?

If BB was smart, he'd stay away from teams like England. That being said, we probably will play England at some point. However, I would rather see a game against France even though I don't give us much of a chance of winning against either. Understand now?
