Rico Lewis left out entirely by Man City and he is not injured. Might be one to watch next summer to see if he moves.

It seems that he will be the new midfielder that Carsley will turn into the Morton/Anderson of this age group. It will also be interesting to see how he fits into the team with Arblaster, once he finally returns.
Nottingham Forest have identified Brighton’s 20-year-old English midfielder Jack Hinshelwood among a number of possible January transfer targets. (Mail)
Rico Lewis is likely going to be in this squad for this season and the next one. We will probably be asking the same questions that we have now about him. How can you regularly use him to your benefit in senior games?
Toby Collyer starting a big game for West Brom against Birmingham. Considering the dearth of 2004 options we could do with him stepping up.
Talksport post-game was saying he did really well considering being back from injury and the occasion
Peck has two goal and two MOTM performances since returning from international duty (where he got two assists for the U21’s). Maybe it is all coincidence but it feels like time with Carsley gives these CM’s a real boost.
I was actually thinking on similar lines, I mean it might be just a coincidence but didn’t Anderson, Scott and Hackney seem to blossom under Carsley and all three are doing very well plus Hackney seems to be linked with various Premier League Clubs.
and Morton who he persisted with when he was barely playing. Even when you look at the previous age group he’s helped someone like Garner and a player like Angel Gomes. Even Doyle is apparently doing well at Birmingham. Been a bit unlucky with fitness and injuries with Curtis Jones and Jacob Ramsey. Feels like he’s had a positive impact on almost every option regardless of their overall talent.
It's definitely not a coincidence. There are far too many examples for it to be a coincidence. I can't remember the timelines in my head but didn't MGW's senior career start to properly take off after working with Carsley too? I definitely think Curtis Jones took big leaps at club level after the U21 Euros as well.
Brighton will block any offers from Nottingham Forest for versatile England Under-21 international Jack Hinshelwood, 20. (Football Insider, external)
This seems like a complete non story. Neither Brighton nor the player would be in anyway in favour of this move.
Was checking Gent’s result this weekend thinking Max might be getting a few minutes off the bench, but he’s still not back from the Red Card, looks like it was a 6 game suspension! Pretty sure he had a few incidents at MK Dons, really needs to work on his temperament if he wants to make it at the top level.
Max Alleyne still only on the bench for Watford. It´s becoming more and more obvious their new coach views him as q bench option. Hope his loan will be terminated in January, he´s way too good to be wasting this stage of his development as an option off the bench to close down the match. I know we were interested in loaning him at the start of the season; would personally love that to happen. And I also wasn´t expecting Jacob Wright to end up barely playing for a side that´s now fighting to stay in the league after he showed quite a bit of promise for them and in the u20 Elite League last season.
I follow a Watford fan on Twitter (who's very knowledgeable) and he's perpetually perplexed by a lot of their manager's decisions. He's also very high on Alleyne and thinks he should be starting.
