Anyone got an idea of how our next cycles best 11 would look? Also the cut off age is players born on or after the 1st Jan 2004 are available for selection. Not so many of the current squad are available, only Beadle, Simkin, Norton-Cuffy, Hinshelwood, Gray and Nwaneri.
Ignoring those who’ve already played for the seniors, I’d say something like the following Beadle; Hinshelwood, Acheampong, Phillips, O’Reilly; Gray, Bellingham; Dibling, Nwaneri, Gittens; Scarlett
Ben Nelson probably had the better season between him and Ashley Phillips in the Championship last season, and has a pretty good platform at Leicester to establish himself so I wouldn't be too surprised if he's ultimately starting for the under 21's next season. I think you could also reasonably argue for Esse over Dibling (or perhaps more likely Nwaneri on the right with another of the plethora of central options playing). I suspect Wharton will at least start the campaign with the under 21's though I wouldn't particularly expect him to hang around there long.
Just having a play with this but will go with; Beadle, Norton-Cuffy, Acheampong, Philips, O’Reilly; Gray, Hinschelwood, Bellingham; Nwaneri, Rodriguez, Gittens.
