Wharton is the deep lying midfielder that will be around for a decade

Harwood - Bellis should be aiming for a senior cap by this time next year.

Was injury prone..........................hopefully! He had a recurring issue with his hamstring which (eventually) resulted in him going under the knife last season - in theory its 'fixed' his problem however if it hasn't it might be the end of him.

As a Chelsea fan I've got everything crossed.

Solid chance someone buys him for that I think, although maybe his recent injury record might put one or two off. Still don't know what the hell Chelsea are playing at here.

They'll see it as a raging success given they've flipped him for a tonne of profit. Tbh if the right club comes in for him it'll likely work out better for him anyway. Don't want any promising young English players at Chelsea while they're being run by these clowns.

Palmer is an exception when you look at the wider pool. Nothing at all against Chelsea as a club, I very much want them to sort things out and become competitive again.

Swansea defender Nathan Wood, 22, is to have a medical at Southampton after the clubs agreed a £5m fee. (Football Insider)

I saw a video clip of the Hull Owner Acun Ilicali on TalkSport and said there was truth in links with West Ham, Everton and Barcelona, and basically said he would not stand in a players way if they really wanted to leave the club.

Seems like Ipswich are in for him quite seriously.

If they sign both of these they'll be looking in a very good position to stay up. Still probably need a striker and a midfielder but their recruitment team clearly know what they're doing.

I would rather see the Barcelona move happen for Philogene.

Would he get much game time at Barca with Yamal, Raphinha, Torres?

Philogene is the most natural left winger of all of those. I think they predominantly use Torres as a backup striker. He'd very much have to earn his place but I definitely think he can play a fairly important role there if all goes well.

On the left I would think so. It would be a great experience for him in an elite environment, Champions League football etc. and if it doesn't work out then he'd be firmly in the shop window for a Premier League move in any case.

Yeah that's not a great sign icl. You never know his reasoning but as a general rule I feel like as a serious pro you should be jumping at the chance to join Barcelona.

Should back himself. They're not that stacked in his position.
