Don't know if anybody has been watching this game. It's 0-0 at HT. Dreadful playing conditions from St. Mary's. Passing has been spotchy to say the least. Thought I would post this thread for anyone besides myself who is interested. Lennon has looked well despite the wet conditions. Hart has not been really tested in goal.

Lennon needs to improve his final ball.

    Huddlestone is massive.

Yeah, I don't fault Lennon too much though. The ball is not travelling well on the pitch. Milner has had a few looks, but well outside the box..

Spotty...The quality we have on the field should be tearing this team apart. Field conditions and weather have played some part. Wheater looking shaky in defence to start the 2nd half.

It has been scrappy. We seem to be dominating possession but not doing too much with it. Couple of potshots from outside the area but no clear cut chances.

England appeal for hand ball in the box. Nothing doing. Ireland counterattacks but shot is saved by Joey Hart..

Someone needs to teach them to play to the whistle.

    Ireland should have scored then.

We are going to get caught on the counter attack sooner or later.

England missing a great opportunity of exchange near goal.

    Goal. Milner.

Bit odd. No-one challenged him and it took a deflection on the way in.
