Jacob Wright leaves Man City and becomes Norwich City player on permanent transfer, deal done. Norwich only had the right to make the transfer permanent if Jacob started 9 games, the target was hit and Norwich now sign Wright for £2.3m transfer fee. (Fabrizio Romano)
It’s a friendly tournament so probably something similar to what Omari Hutchinson did. He won’t be cap tied so nothing to really be too concerned with as yet. I’ve no idea how good he is anyway to be fair?
always on a doom spiral Wan Bissaka played for DR Congo at a similar age in a friendly and has only just switched 10 years on.

1928184942611103859 is not a valid tweet id Ignore the absurdity of the fee and I think this is potentially a good transfer. I like Mubama a lot and think he has a chance to go far. How City can ask for £10m for a 20-year-old with virtually no senior experience is beyond me though.
It would seem bizarre to run down his contract at West Ham to move to City only to then move to the championship within a year, when he could have done that last season instead of playing another year of underage football. It does show the "rich get richer" aspect of the premier league nicely though. West Ham are a very wealthy team by pretty much any standard but even they get their best young talent taken off them to a club who had no intention of him ever being a real first team player, and profit massively out of it inside a year despite not doing anything to develop them.
I was literally just writing out a comment saying the same thing. Almost as if City bought him just to make a quick profit.

1931026489329307829 is not a valid tweet id Bit of a surprise this because some fairly big clubs were linked with him. Stoke are a hard club to try and develop at; there's always a lot of expectation but the team is quite often a mess. I wonder what they're planning with Nathan Lowe. Probably another loan you'd imagine.
