I know he's a few years older but surprised Palace haven't given Jesurun Rak-Sakyi a run in the first team instead of loaning, quite a similar player to Esse from what I've seen.

Chelsea will send English midfielder Omari Kellyman out on loan in January to help the 19-year-old earn some senior experience. (Football Insider)
Sam Rak-Sakyi starting for Chelsea in the Conference League. Interested to see what midfield role he plays.
He is another one from the much maligned 2005 age group that looks interesting. Will be pretty fascinating to see what they offer collectively at U21 level.
Spurs are considering recalling English defender Ashley Phillips, 19, from his loan deal at Stoke in January to help ease their injury crisis. (Standard), external
Adrian Blake with a couple of goals for Utrecht off the bench to rescue them from 3-1 down. Barely got any playing time this or last season but seem to contribute when he does, so I suspect he’ll get more minutes going forward.
Be interesting to see how Bobby Clark gets on now Pep Lijnders has been sacked by RB Salzburg as it was him that brought him there.
Max Dean has suffered an ACL tear, out for the rest of the season. https://www.kaagent.be/nl/nieuws/27-12-2024/kruisbandblessure-voor-max-dean
I don’t think it’s a particularly new phenomenon is it? I mean I’d done ACL in both knees under the age of 21

I have no idea if he was going to stay anyway, but it's a shame to lose Paul Nevin. He's a very credentialed coach and this team played some really good stuff in his short spell. On paper, he's the sort of coach the FA need to be targeting way more than they do. This also likely means Futcher is staying on, which is a massive shame, and even more so because he'll probably be one of the main contenders for the U21 job if Carsley leaves after the summer.
After a tough beginning, and being in and out of match day squads. Jamie Donley has really come into form for Leyton Orient who are now unbeaten in 7 since his reintroduction into the side in early December, he’s contributed 3 goals and 2 assists in that period.
It'll be interesting to see what happens with Carsley. He'll almost certainly have more good offers from the EFL in the summer so I can see him taking the jump, but I guess there's also a decent chance he just waits it out for Tuchel's reign to end, given it's more likely to be a fairly short stint than a long one.
