He’d have to file a one time switch, he probably shouldn’t be in any rush to do so unless he in a position to regularly start for them (or after he ages out of the next U21s cycle).

Presumably that means they might be selling Onana (otherwise not sure why they'd be buying with PSR issues floating about) if so not a bad move.

Not sure this is a good idea for him.

It’s clearly to get round psr regulations. It’s incredibly dodgy. Villa and Everton are clearly at it with Dobbin and Iroegbunam.

Its also highly unethical as its playing fast and loose with young players’ futures.

Pretty clear a few clubs are basically cooking the books with 'swap deals' and inflating book costs, not the right move for Kellyman.

What odds would you get on Kellyman spending most of the next 6 years on loan at various different clubs and then released?

Seems like the most likely event. You can always get a Guehi/Tomori/Hutchinson scenario where they get an EFL loan that works excellently and elevates their stock for a move to a more suitable club but that's not the most common outcome.

Did they get released? I thought they just didn’t want to sign new contract? Surprised they got released though if that’s the case.

Yeah, they were both offered deals and turned them down.

Brighton were pretty high up at giving teenagers minutes in the PL last season. I’m not sure many other clubs would have given Hinshelwood the games he got at Brighton last season.

Seems they have a selling point to young players of ‘you will get chances here if you put the work in’.

Off course, I somehow forgot about him.
