It's pathetic to say this but does the fact that it's a home match tomorrow mean that there's unlikely to be any coverage?
Busy evening for our #YoungLions! 😅Here's how our Under-20s line up at @wwfcofficial tonight: pic.twitter.com/N9p5H53xFA— England (@England) November 19, 2019
Really hoping for a move for Angel Gomes. Such a shame it has come to this when utd have such little quality in his position. Pereira is average and Mata is too old now. For Lingard its just seems cruel at this point to keep playing him He should have been given a shot.
Good move. Just need him to be available for every minute till the end of the season and rest should take care of itself. 📝 #htafc have completed the signing of @emilesmithrowe on loan from @Arsenal for the rest of the 2019/20 @SkyBetChamp season!🗣️ Danny Cowley: “Emile will give us the creative link that we’ve been missing."https://t.co/qC7Ide0Lp5— Huddersfield Town (@htafc) January 10, 2020
1212796228846673920 is not a valid tweet id Tyrese Campbell has turned down both #Rangers and #Celtic and decided his future lies at #scfc. After turning down a number of new contract offers, and extensive talks with both Glasgow clubs, he’s poised to sign a new Stoke deal in next 24hrs. O’Neil key to his change of heart.— Rob Dorsett (@RobDorsettSky) January 24, 2020 Campbell has come on in leaps and bounds since O'Neill came in at Stoke, and he's been given a real run. Looks a player with real potential now
I knew he'd had a good goal return recently but I didn't realise he'd been scoring such impressive goals, should be in the next U21 squad for me which may well mean Brewster dropping down to U20.
I think that would be a shame right now. He has a chance to build momentum for the first time in senior football. Doesn't seem wise to do anything to take the wind out of his sails.
I was thinking an opportunity to play a few full matches and perhaps score a few goals might be the better situation for him right now, he's only been picking up scrappy substitute appearances in the U21s.
Sure, but I think these things can have symbolic and emotional significance to a player, you know? Your happiness is often more closely tied to your direction of travel than it is to your absolute position, and a demotion may still feel like a demotion, whatever the rationale. He's at a very tender point in his career, building his reputation as a senior footballer and a bedrock of confidence. If we care about his future, that is something to tread lightly around.
Isn't this the guy that was bragging about his Champions League winners medal on social media, despite contributing nothing to the win? I don't think Brewster has ever lacked in confidence, he's had a humility deficit, if anything.
I don't know if that really displays emotional security, to be honest with you. Regardless, it's a rare 19-year-old whose confidence isn't at least somewhat brittle.
