Really good first-half performance, just missing a goal. Some of the interchanges between the midfielders have been terrific but at the moment the final ball just isn't there. Tavernier, Williams, Gibson, Shackelton & Slattery, minus his shooting, have all been very good. Also, quick mention to Bursik who made a phenomenal save a couple minutes in. Other than that, Swizterland have done nothing to trouble us.
haven't seen the whole half but thought the technical level was a bit average. I might have missed the good parts
Dozell still an absolute joy to watch in that deep CM role, so much class on the ball. Too bad his move to Norwich didn't happen Edit : 1/0 England, richly deserved. Gomes and Dozell have put the swiss on the back foot
Nice goal. Good hold-up from Leko, great run from Gomes at the near post to take away the defender, perfectly weighted ball from Bolton & quality header from Clarke. Deserved win even if we weren't outstanding.
Pretty good considering the group, how little they’ve played together and how wasted last years Elite League was.
Was great to see Luke Thomas get a call-up and then make his debut. He's been pretty decent for us so far this season, hopefully this international involvement will spur him on hugely, confidence-wise. He has lots of potential.
So who is signing Luke Thomas from Barnsley at the end of the season ? Was very good today for Barnsley against Forest. Direct and quick but also plays with his head up to look at the options in front of him.
