Yeah seen this before but managers will say anything to get players to sign. Can’t help think there’s better options for him to gain more senior appearances and progress his development like Dortmund and Leverkusen who were in for him. We will see I guess…
Not sure if this has slipped under the radar but Aaron Ramsey has joined Norwich on a season long loan. Could be a good move for him under Dean Smith.
Aaron Ramsey has gone on loan to Norwich for the season. He has also extended his contract with Villa.

First positive report is from last week is Charlie Creswell for Millwall, scored both the goals in their 2-0 win over Stoke (he's a centre back!) and got man of the match.
Chelsea are interested in Ronnie Edwards according to the director of football at Peterborough. It’s also reported that Man City, Man United, Spurs, Aston Villa, Southampton and Crystal Palace have also considered making an offer for him this summer. If they sell him Peterborough would like for him to return on loan to them for one more season.
That’s another name for AJ to add at a later date fwiw. Quite surprised that I’ve seen little interest in him and the other two centre backs that won the Euro’s. All looked extremely solid and ready for the next level up and thought Quansah and Humphrey’s would follow Doyle in having a decent loan move to at least league 1 level. I thought Edwards was very impressive to be honest and surprised no bids came in after the Euro’s.
Quansah was playing for Liverpool at the weekend in PL2 but I think he is ready for more but it seems they want him to be one of the major figures of that team. Humphrey and Vale both played for Chelsea in PL2 yesterday but Vale has been linked for a loan move so I do wonder if Humphrey will go as well.

I know it’s still early days but can’t help feel already that Carney Chukuwemeka has made a bad move. He wasn’t even on the bench yesterday for Chelsea and likely to play for their Development team today. I’m struggling to see how this move will help his development at this stage when he needs first team football, not back playing in the Development team. Hope I’m wrong because he’s a talent and don’t want to see his career go down the drain but I do have this concern with him now.
He did seem like he wanted the challenge of cracking an extremely hard team instead of playing regularly at another team. But I imagine if he is barely playing come January he could get send on a second second half of season loan.
Which they managed to lose 3-0 so not likely to help him, Chilwell or Chalobah get many first team minutes anytime soon. No sign of Harvey Vale today through so I wonder if he might be heading out on loan.

Bynoe-Gittens started for Dortmund. He was decent, involved in their first goal. Looks like he’s dislocated his shoulder and went off shortly before half time.
Dane Scarlett with 2 goals, as Pompey beat Peterborough 2-1, two really nice finishes, a diving header and a left foot strike from the edge of the box.

Scarlett does have something about him, doesn't he? Not sure if it's his confidence or something about the way he moves, but there's a kind of "high-status" air about him that makes me think he'll make good on his obvious talent where someone like Brewster has struggled to.

Pleased to see Ben Nelson & Ashley Phillips selected. Two good prospects at centre back and they've represented other nations previously. Norton-Cuffy & Scarlett promoted to the year above. Setford & Bynoe-Gittens injured. Are Brodi Hughes, Charlie Webster, Alfie Devine, Daniel Gore & Soonsup-Bell also unavailable? Thought Mainoo might get a promotion also. Dunno what's going on with Kaide Gordon & Shoretire.
