England U-19 Discussion Thread #3 (2005 born) [R]

Haydon Roberts, Nathan Wood, Matheson & Morgan Rogers presumably not called up as the third tier and below doesn't stop during the International break. Layton Stewart out for the season with an ACL.

This squad will be playing Arsenal apparently.

 

According to Brighton's website Roberts is attending.

 

Matheson hasn't been fit for 3 weeks or so, still not available for this weekends game

 

Dion Rankine is there now so someone else must've pulled out too.

 

Playing Arsenal U23 tomorrow at 12.

 

Elliot Anderson hasn't taken long to make an impression with England U19s this week. Will play at number 10 in a training game vs Arsenal U23s. We're hearing he has really shone in training this week #nufc

Is that a misleading photo or are Harwood-Bellis and Cresswell's commonly listed heights wrong? THB's down as 6'2" and Cresswell just 6'0".

 

Hartlepool's website says Young's height is 6'4" so I reckon Hardwood-Bellis is 6'2" or thereabouts and Cresswell's info is out of date.

 

Yeah I looked that up - actually says he's 6'3" and 6'4" on the same page. Either way, Harwood-Bellis looks shorter there than 6'2", so I think the photo's a little bit deceiving. Cresswell has evidently grown.

No player in the world game has improved their haircut more than Harvey Elliott this season.

 

Some goal that, his second was also a great goal as well! So many good performances tonight from the usual suspects but I thought Callum Doyle was excellent, looks a Rolls Royce of a left footed centre back.
