Been stalling on a new contract for a while so seemed like something was happening with him, annoying but can't blame him.

Hopefully they (Man Utd) have a plan/pathway for him. Hamburg seems like a better move in terms of an opportunity to get first team minutes in the near future.

5 year contract, really hope it’s a good move for him.

He was probably our best player at the U17 WC. Very interested to see how he adapts to senior football.

Also worth noting he’s also now with Jahmai Simpson-Pussey so he will at least have someone to help him settle in.

I´ve come across an article from a Cologne newspaper stating Köln´s sporting director has some personal contact with another German manager or scout in City´s academy (iirc the guy at City used to work for Köln before his move) which helped orchestrate the Jahmai loan and permanent move to Köln and this move too. Apparently they´re considering trying to build a long-term relationship with City´s academy in case both players develop the way they imagine.

Just watching Luca Williams Barnett in pre season and he seems to have filled out and looks to be playing slightly deeper in midfield.

Not sure what’s Spurs have planned for him but physically looks very ready for mens football.

Edit- comp of his 45 mins for those interested.

Edit - Was thinking of Reggie Watson when making this point -

Probably the most physically capable player to jump into senior football from U17 level in our system since Rooney. What a freak in that regard. We are in a weird situation where we have numerous players who are jumping up two age groups very quickly. Has to be at least partly factored in to discussion when we try to reason why we have had imbalance in the youth teams.

I think you're on about Reggie Watson, whereas the comp is Reggie Walsh. But you're not wrong on Watson.

Sorry, yeah I’ve posted in the wrong thread after watching the compilation on another thread a while ago. Just assuming he’s (Watson) going to be promoted up to U19 or higher.

To be fair you’re not alone in getting them mixed up. I’m guilty of not realising which Reggie I’ve been watching.

I didn’t watch the clip of Walsh if I’m honest. The Watson one looks like a man though. Just feels very striking.

It'll be interesting to see if he can break into the England setup.

I think he's unfortunate given 08 is an extremely competitive age group for strikers. He'd probably be in the mix in some slightly weaker age groups.
