Arsenal are showing strong interest in Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga. The 16-year-old is the third youngest player in Premier League history, behind Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman. Story with @SamWallaceTel https://t.co/1SutqV99WB— Sam Dean (@SamJDean) April 17, 2026
Thwaites on the bench today against Chelsea. Bit surprising as he played 120 mins in the Youth Cup semi final yesterday but he was our best player.
we have 12 players, including the loanees, out of contract this summer, a fresh start under a manager that actually gets him confident he could shine, he should have played a lot more given how crap Mavididi has been

Perhaps Thry think he’s not athletic enough as they seem to be selecting athletes over footballers in midfield a lot these days. It’s impressive how good he is with his weak foot too, hitting long passes and good shots with his left.
I have serious hope he´ll play an instrumental role under Carsley for the next u21 cycle. Looks pretty much like a Carsley midfielder to me who´d thrive under him.

Aside from Carsley it seems to me we have an absolute obsession with playing ball carriers in the middle at every other age group (actually every outfield position bizarrely). To the point I can't help but think it must be by design we do that. I don't really understand it, the age old saying the ball moves faster than the man holds true, but we seem to have decided passing is not a necessary quality (or perhaps a skill that can be developed later), and that tracks a lot with our decline in youth performances and inability to have any control in games. My theory is that somewhere the instruction is we should maximise the amount of touches of the ball in youth development, lending itself to ball carrying over passers - but who's to say. Structurally something has to be up though because it's happening age group after age group now.
I know this is a joke but he’s started our last 4 games and has proved that he’s up to the level required. Really pleasing to see a homegrown player for us this season as we’ve basically had no English representation until now. (Apart from Ballard who was born and raised in England but represents NI.)

🚨 BREAKING: Rangers' Mikey Moore is named PFA Scotland SPFL Young Player of the Year! pic.twitter.com/UkGuZ3iH6l— Sky Sports Scotland (@ScotlandSky) May 3, 2026 Took his time to shine but that could be put down to the early season car crash at Ibrox.Been brilliant to watch under Rohl, always wanting the ball, first thought always to go forward and always willing to take on his man.Another win for the entertainers! https://t.co/H5ZZitVVo7— Pie & Bovril 🏴 (@pieandbov) May 4, 2026
🚨 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: Manchester United have opened talks with Leicester City over a move for 𝗝𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗬 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗔 (𝟭𝟲) this summer. Expected fee around £6M.[@DailyMirror] pic.twitter.com/iVyEhtq18g— Rising Stars XI (@RisingStarXI) May 9, 2026 I’ve no idea if this is true but think a move to Utd might actually be a decent move for him if Carrick stays as manager.
I don't know how good a move for him would be, he is a very long way off premier league standard right now so he'll be moving to play youth football, realistically. Leicester are dysfunctional but they should be very strong in League One next season and he should have an opportunity for lots of gametime - kind of similar to Oxlade-Chamberlain when he was with Southampton.
Yeah I mean he might get sent out on loan for a season but genuinely speaking Utd are pretty good at bringing through younger players so that’s why I think it might be a decent move.
Danny Rohl has confirmed that Rangers will work on re-signing Mikey Moore from Tottenham Hotspur this summer - talkSPORT
Makes more sense for him to take a step to a more competitive league like the Championship imo. Obviously Spurs if they get relegated, but if not Millwall would be a good loan destination I think. Should slot in nicely there and they'll likely be chasing players like him this summer.
