Not great results but I will say, the format heavily favours the sides who come through the play-offs as they get to play at home in a one off-fixture. City had to play in -12 on an artificial pitch & with 12,000 fans against them. Likewise, Liverpool played at Žilina's (Slovakian btw) main stadium with a 10,500 crowd.
Few weird results tbf. Barcelona were knocked out by Maccabi Haifa and Ajax by Legia Warsaw. City's lineup also looks heavily depleted to me. Floyd Samba, Miles, Gorman, McAidoo, Mukasa and Mfuni we're all missing for various reasons having been involved in the earlier rounds. Not looked into the Liverpool and Spurs results.

Looks like he’s been playing more centrally too which is something a few have been saying should be his position going forward.
His best work is in the inside left channel with freedom to drift, I’d imagine Rohl will play him in the 10 for the foreseeable, because his all round game is just much better than Aasgaard.
Liverpool are also in another battle, this time with Manchester United, for Wolves’ 18-year-old forward Mateus Mane this summer. The Portuguese-born England youth international is valued at £50m by his club. (Fichajes)

Mukasa is getting some decent reviews from Leicester fans. One of a few that could be promoted by Carsley.
Divine Mukasa’s second half vs Stoke City ⭐️A goal and an assist for the Manchester City wonderkid, who once again ran the game.Adapting really well to the Championship.#LCFC | #MCFC pic.twitter.com/lL2NA4xlmZ— Jack Worswick (@JackWorswick_) February 21, 2026
Yeah. Was anonymous in the first half Really wasn't afraid to try anything. Shame his volley didn't go in.
Rio Ngumoha completed more dribbles (2) and created as many chances (1) as Mo Salah and Cody Gakpo combined vs Nottingham Forest. He came on in the 76th minute. 😳#NFOLIV #PremierLeague pic.twitter.com/FfjWz6npDm— WhoScored (@WhoScored) February 22, 2026
