In these times it's particularly exemplary that Sunderland are replacing Clarke from within – okay, Mundle was brought in in January, but both are English youngsters.
The report on the Italian FA website, suggests the goals were scored by Ethan Wheatley in the 44th and Ayden Heaven in the 86th and Nwaneri had a penalty saved. https://www.figc.it/it/nazionali/ne...-bollini-è-stata-una-partita-di-alto-livello/

We've been much the better side in the first 20 but an awful mix-up (lack of communication) between the keeper and centre-back allows Germany to go 1-0 up with their first meaningful attack of the game. Ridiculous amount of goals conceded through avoidable individual errors during this international break from sides at all levels.
Germans blasting out some techno at half time. At least the players are getting an authentic experience over there.
Nwaneri equalises, good move but the keeper should've saved it. Ironically the keeper denied Nwaneri an absolute wonder goal with a great save just minutes before.
3-2 to Germany - Dibling pulls one back with a shot from the edge of the box just after they got another through more unconvincing defending.
Ethan Nwaneri nearly scored an absurd goal for England u19 against Germany. Mikel Arteta asked whether he'd be prepared to throw Ethan Nwaneri in at deep end vs Spurs: "The young kids have given us a lot of hope & have shown we can count on them. And if we need to, we will do it." #AFC— Ryan Taylor (@RyanTaylorSport) September 13, 2024
I feels like there is a gap in the squad for some of their young options now though. Guess we will have to wait and see.
