No real surprise. He doesn't have the first-team experience to show it but Acheampong is a Leny Yoro-level talent on paper imo. Probably explains why Madrid were happy to miss out on Yoro. Acheampong could very easily become a CB at senior level.

Would want him to play in midfield long-term but for the first couple of years of his development that inverted left-back role will probably really help him ease into first-team football at that level. He's a bit of a rich man's Rico Lewis imo.

Good performance from Jobe today. I think he'll be a contender for the 21s this season.

Any idea on who this age groups manager will be this season. Their European Championship qualification journey starts on the 4th September against Italy.

Probably still Will Antwi if the FA haven't said otherwise.

Don’t think it was mentioned but Danns is currently injured.

Tezgel scored for Stoke last night. 2 Championship starts this season so far, although with no goals. Surely he must be in contention for this squad.

He is not eligible for this squad anymore. 2005 born. So, he’s only eligible for the Elite Squad or U21’s.

Tyler Dibling ended up with two assists. Placed himself in a good position for more senior game time.

Have to imagine this is a good first move for Ndala. Am I correct in thinking someone said on here that he's also eligible for France or am I making that up?

I think he was born in France but I’m not sure he has a French passport.

Oh god, not another one. We seem to not do to well with fighting duals with France. Well maybe it’s only Olise but still a painful one.

France are pretty stacked in that part of the pitch (youth and seniors) so as long as he sticks with our youth teams I'd be confident we'll keep hold of him if he becomes good enough for the seniors.
