I know it’s only a highlights video but he looks like a bit of a find! Agree with Jenks, he does remind me of Grealish!

 

I've not been keeping up with this age group since the pandemic....what's happened to Patino? Injured, just not included? Always thought he was one of the bright central midfield prospects we had.

 

I heard Patino was injured, I'm not sure who from though.

 

I thought he was still injured but then he seems to have been in the long squad for Olympiacos last week. Been out for a few weeks though, so probably still on his way back.

 

Of course he is good he has been called up to the England squad out of the many others that haven't been.

Sounds promising. One player i will keep an eye on in the next few years.

 

Keepers Filip Marschall & Adam Richardson have withdrawn. Tobi Oluwayemi from Celtic called up.

 

Chelsea have Joe Haigh, Bashir Humphreys and Luke Badley-Morgan on the standby list.

It really is. The forwards may not quite have the stand out talents of the 2000 year group but the depth seems comparable, there are individuals that would usually make the cut in other years. Harvey Elliott promoted, Lewis Richardson has been around the Burnley first team, guess Hugill just missed out also.

I believe Lewis Dobbin & Amadou Diallo are injured, the latter did his ACL as I recall so may not even be the same player anymore. Iling Jr is with the Juventus academy. Unsure if Charlie McNeill is overhyped or not but think it's been a couple of years since he made an International side. Rico Richards was in the England U20 squad back in November but not selected. Different position but Nohan Kenneh was also in that U20 selection and bit surprised not to see him either.

 

Diallo is back now, but only just, so too early to really get another call-up.

 

Keeper has just saved a pen.

 

I guess Boyce-Clarke & Colwill were unavailable. Balagizi shown on the team sheet but not even on the bench.

Not the best of starts tbh, Wales have been the better side so far and missed a penalty which was a good save by Graczyk.

 

Beginning to sustain attacks now. Barry & Shoretire down the left look dangerous.

 

10 subs at HT. Only Egan-Riley still on.

 

I have to admit, I did expect more from us considering the hype with some of the players but really Wales have probably looked better overall with better chances so far.

 

Bloody hell he didn't hold back with that penalty. Really good from Oyegoke in the build up.
