Any chance Aaron Ramsey can change his name just to avoid the usual procedure of twitter fans claiming he’s too old and Welsh. Repeat and rinse everytime he’s selected!
If he makes it to the top and especially an England player then he will definitely have that iconic nickname, period! Mind you, he must already have it amongst his friends surely?
Joe Hugill now has 9 goals & 1 assist in 7 starts & 5 sub appearances for the u18s & u23s this season. He's scored twice in all 3 of his u18s appearances— jb8521 (@jb_8521) December 5, 2020

Wish he was a couple of years older. Arsenal's problems in midfield would give him and Azeez the perfect chance to stake a claim, but I wonder whether Arteta would dare to make a 17-year-old a first-choice starter. Then again, they've kept Xhaka and Elneny since 2016, so perhaps they'll still have issues for a while yet...

Elliott Anderson made his debut for Newcastle last night against Arsenal in the FA cup and looked very tidy on the ball. Just turned 18 years old and looked our best midfielder, bit of a prodigy at youth level and was our best player in our under 23s as a 17 year old. Represents Scotland at youth level but is a geordie and was born in Whitly Bay so could switch if England come knocking.
🏴 @Cymru will play their first U18 match in more than 20 years when they face @England later this month.#TogetherStronger— FA WALES (@FAWales) March 10, 2021
Just to add in case people don’t click on the link, it’s going to be live on YouTube and Facebook for anyone interested.
Good that they got this 2003 group a game after the training camps in October and November. Don't follow youth football closely enough to know who is available. Appears Lewis Dobbin will not play again this season due to a knee problem. Patino is also out. Mbete-Tabu & Logan Pye seem to have missed their most recent club games. Balagizi is only just back from injury so not sure if his club will release him. The FA confirmed they were keeping an U18 team last year but I wondered whether they would have to reconsider as the pandemic continued to bite. However if the association in Wales which has less resources to my knowledge is introducing a side at that level you'd assume England would retain this team.
The Squad Goalkeepers: Coniah Boyce-Clarke (Reading), Hubert Graczyk (Arsenal), Filip Marschall (Aston Villa), Adam Richardson (Sunderland) Defenders: Levi Colwill (Chelsea), Callum Doyle (Manchester City), CJ Egan-Riley (Manchester City), William Fish (Manchester United), Ethan Ingram (West Bromwich Albion), James Norris (Liverpool), Daniel Oyegoke (Arsenal), Jarell Quansah (Liverpool) Midfielders: James Balagizi (Liverpool), Carney Chukwuemeka (Aston Villa), Aaron Ramsey (Aston Villa), Alex Robertson (Manchester City), Alex Scott (Bristol City) Forwards: Kwadwo Baah (Rochdale), Louie Barry (Aston Villa), Liam Delap (Manchester City), Karamoko Dembele (Celtic), Samuel Edozie (Manchester City), Daniel Jebbison (Sheffield United), Shola Shoretire (Manchester United)
First call up for Baah! Looks a really interesting prospect so that’s good to see! Return for Shoretire which is good also! Another strong looking squad!
Really hope Delap stays with us obviously. Shoretire a 2004 playing a year up! Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler Good call btw, he's in the U19's.
Jebbison was born in Canada but moved to England in 2017. Played for them at younger age groups I believe.
All I know about Scott is that he used to play for Guernsey FC & he's actually their youngest ever player.
