Not to my knowledge. I know me missed the U17 WC due to injury but I don't think he was out for a long time.
Yeah just seemed to come from out of the blue him starting when he hasn’t even been named in a squad list for what seems a long time so just presumed he’s been injured for that period.
Funnily enough I actually thought this during the second half. On numerous occasions he could have received the ball however one player ( think it was the right back ) seemed reluctant to give him the ball.
Frustrating that Rio Ngumoha had a perfectly good goal ruled out for offside last night. Great finish as well.
Putting this in both threads. Feels like a demotion for Ryan? After the U17 WC (on the back of a poor U17 Euro finals). This coincides with a change to the qualifying format for Euros tournaments, whereby #ENGU19 (2007s) continue in the elite round this month for the summer's #U19EURO finals in Wales.Meanwhile, #ENGU18 (2008s) will begin the qualifying campaign for the 2027 tournament.— youthhawk (@youthhawk) March 11, 2026

Interesting to see Monga in this age group and not with the U19’s. Think he’s been out injured for a while though right?
Sort of. Seems to be niggling injuries. Also doesn't help that Rowett seems to think experience is the answer to everything
Okoduwa is now picked for competitive games. So, Neil Ryan was just not picking him for competitive games when he was in charge
Where did you see that? He's still not listed in the squad. Scored today so presumably not out. Of the other usual striking suspects, Harry Gray is injured, but Igor Tyjon did play last night, and Gomes-Rodrigues played in Annecy's last Ligue 2 game, so seems rather odd.
England´s official instagram acc where they show all of the youth squads. Chizzy himself reposted the graphic with his name on it. Perhaps they forgot to add his name originally?
At least Ezenwata is there. Perhaps they intend for Heskey to also cover striker. Assumed Braithwaite being listed as a midfielder was an error but seems he's played there a bit for Manchester City academy. Hardy the only representative from Tottenham. Do you or @Regis Prograis know if any of Byfield, Elijah Upson, Tynan Thompson or Williams-Barnett are injured? Not a Spurs player but Mantato might be out for rest of the season apparently. Is it possible it's taken till 2026 for Okoduwa to get the relevant documents to play competitive fixtures? Harry Gray has indeed missed last two games for Rotherham. Last time AGR played at International level he got (correctly iirc) a straight red. England were eliminated by Austria in that game so if there was a subsequent ban he couldn't serve it at that tournament. No idea if bans occurring at a FIFA U17 tournament would carry over to UEFA U19 qualifiers though.
All 4 injured with little info although know Upson is out long-term, was seen on crutches a few weeks ago.
Ryan McAidoo has withdrawn with an injury. Also Harry Howell has been promoted up a level. And with Benjamin Casey and Lorenz Hutchinson added as replacements for this squad there's now no lack of strikers! Damn all four unavailable. Assume same Spurs medical staff for youth team and seniors then.
