I'm surprised Amass has not been selected for this U18 squad. He played in an EFL Trophy fixture on Tuesday against Huddersfield so isn't injured.
If this is true it must mean they're re-signing that Spanish left-back they sold to Benfica not long ago. They've been linked with him recently. I don't really think Villa is a great destination though with how much they've just splashed on Maatsen. Amass is such a good prospect I think United could really regret letting him go.
Ratcliffe went on about having more Homegrown players but come nest season thy might not have any English players at all in their squad.

Would be very interesting to see how that midfield set up. We sacrificed quite a lot at the U17 finals to experiment with Fletcher in the deeper role. Are we not persisting with that?
