Charlie Lennon is one of the Boro players & I think Ajay Matthews is the other. Also there: Samuel Amo-Ameyaw Jayden Meghoma Kiano Dyer
Who’s the youngster 2nd in from left next to Ishe Samuels- Smith, he looks a bit like Emiliano Lawrence, but I haven’t seen his name mention, and I guess Lawrence is a year ahead age wise?
To sum up, we have 19 players GK: Jack Thompson (Derby) RB: CB: Mofe Jemide (Palace), Tommy Dobson-Ventura (Southampton), Zach Abbott (Forest), Waylon Renecke (Norwich) LB: Ishe Samuels-Smith (Everton), Jayden Meghoma (Southampton), Somto Boniface? (Chelsea) CM: Jamal Jimoh (WBA), Lewis Miley (Newcastle), Finley McAllister (Man Utd) AM/ATT: Adam Berry (Man Utd), Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal), Samuel Amo-Ameyaw (Southampton), Kiano Dyer (Chelsea), Archie Stevens (Rangers), Joel Ndala (Man City) CF: Jimmy Morgan (Southampton), Ajay Matthews (Middlesbrough)
Why do the FA post pictures of training but then don’t make an announcement of who has been called up.
Looks like Ndala stayed back at City instead of joining this squad even though he was called up. He’s not injured so seems like a club or personal decision.
Not a good start to the tournament, lost 3-0 to the hosts. 01 Sam Proctor 02 Jayden Meghoma 03 Ishé Samuels-Smith 09 Jimmy Morgan 10 Kiano Dyer 11 Adam Berry 12 Joshua Acheampong 14 Jamal Jimoh 15 Zach Abbott 17 Samuel Amo-Ameyaw 18 Ethan Nwaneri Bench: 04 Michael Golding 05 Tommy Dobson-Ventura 06 Mofe Jemide 07 Archie Stevens 08 Lewis Miley 13 Finlay Herrick 16 Waylon Renecke 19 Ajay Matthews 20 Finley McAllister 21 Charlie Lennon 22 Jack Thompson
3-0 win vs Faroe Islands - Jimoh, Stevens & Nwaneri with the goals. Herrick Jemide Dobson-Ventura Renecke Stevens McAllister (c) Jimoh Golding Lennon Miley Matthews They played 3ATB with Lennon & Stevens as 'wing-backs'.
Beat Finland 2-1 in their final game. Goals from Morgan & Miley. Thompson Acheampong Samuels-Smith Jemide Meghoma McAllister (c) Golding Stevens Nwaneri Dyer Morgan
Im sure there’s obviously more to this than we know but any idea how we finish fourth when we played three, won two?
There were 7 teams in total with each playing 3 matches*. 1st: Norway (2W - 1D) +3GD 2nd: Sweden (2W - 1D) +2GD 3rd: Denmark (2W - 1L) +13GD 4th: England (2W - 1L) +1GD *Norway played 4 but the result against the lowest raking team they faced wasn't counted in the final standings
