According to the stats on UEFA site, it looks like a very even game with an equal amount of chances for both sides.

We’re doing better than I expected. Shame we couldn’t hold onto the lead though.

This was just before halftime, a pitty Gelhardt couldn’t put away his chance but that’s life I guess

    Benjamin Gladwell
After Gelhardt missed a great chance to put England in front, Hansen curls in a shot with the last kick of this first half to give the Netherlands the lead.

Now we just hit the wood work from presumably an Azeez free kick

4-2 Netherlands. Brobbey with a penalty after Weir's foul.

Netherlands seem far more clinical, scored every shot on target. Though I believe they've also hit the woodwork - certainly the team not covering themselves in glory defensively. Doesn't help seemingly 3 of 4 first choice back four are out mind you.

Desperately disappointing end to what should have been a promising groups run. Many questions need to be asked about what a shambles this became but I doubt we'll ever hear anything approaching answers given the secrecy about even announcing the squads.

We've fallen apart now but the dutch would be worthy champions

Technically yes, realistically, extremely unlikely with such a heavy defeat. Particularly given Netherlands will likely play a weakened side against France in the final game.

To make matters worse, Harwood-Bellis is booked and is therefore suspended for the final game.

I dunno, i've seen enough of these tournaments to know that it's never predictable.

Just think it's a bit premature to assume anything when the group isn't even 33% done yet.

Strange that we are 5-2 down and Ben Knight is still on the bench but he’s changed a leftback for another leftback.

How does that work? It was nearing the end of the third game of six when you commented.

Right, yeah. We're a bit unlucky here in that we're one of just three countries only to have a single match televised or streamed. The Netherlands are another of the three (along with Belgium), so the organisers could easily have redressed the balance by showing this one.

Still, spare a thought for people following the Iceland side. They don't get to watch a single kick.

1-0 to Sweden in the other game. United's Elanga with the goal.

Good result for us if it stays that way. If France fail to win either of their remaining games, a win against Sweden would send us through.

I think I'm right in saying that we can no longer go through by drawing with Sweden though.

I guess either a draw or a Sweden win would suit us.

1-1 now. Can't see Sweden holding on, they need another at least.

    2-2, it's such a wide-open game.

Sweden defending with their bodies on the line but just unlucky with a few ricochets. As I said before, they're going to need to score again because France almost certainly will.
