He looks special. If he has a significant season at arsenal I wouldn't be against him being involved at the world cup next year. I know it's a long shot

He's going to jump up a lot of age-groups very quickly

You would think he would be handled carefully this season and not overplayed. I mean it could be hard to not start him because he's that good but could still be a lethal option to have from the bench. It’s really hard not to hype him ( media ) though if he’s putting in cameos like this on a regular basis.

Yamal was only 16 when Spain called him up. I'm only saying if he has a special season. I know its unlikely. I would rather him brought through slowly but he might tear the league up

To be fair to Rover, he would be 16 come the World Cup next year, same as Yamal ( not comparing the two fwiw ) when he was in the Spain Euros squad. I’m not saying he should be in the squad but if he does what Rover says then I guess it’s not beyond the realms of possibility even though I would probably be one who would be patient with him as the physicality of the Premier League is different from other leagues so should be handled with caution imo as you don’t want him being burned out early or even injured being taken out by some physical beast.

I've said for a while that he's got a shot at the World Cup. If we had similar depth up top as in 2006 when Theo went then he'd have a very decent shot but we have an embarrassment of riches in his positions currently which makes it more difficult.

Floyd Samba has been called up to a Germany U17 camp. His first involvement with them, after having also been with us and France.

Could see him moving to Germany in the future. German clubs have targeted quite a lot of these City youngsters, German u19 international Farid Alfa-Ruprecht being the latest. Also, with Noubissie going to Strasbourg looks like his ship with England has sailed for good although that has been quite obvious for some time now. There are quite some duals from highly competitive countries in this age group. Ebouè also eligible for Belgium I believe and with Tavares I'm not sure if he could represent Portugal/Brazil. Probably more I can't think of right now?

Also Rabbaj of course, as I believe Morocco will continue to be probably the best African team for the foreseeable future and most of their duals are very patriotic about their origins.

He will be not much younger than Walcott was in 2006.

We must be doing something right if the likes of France and Germany are nabbing our youngsters

And dowman is the real deal. I never rated Walcott. He was just a pace merchant. Chris waddle once said Walcott has zero footballing brains

Great for him to get a goal and assist but a lot of what makes me sceptical about him in that video as well. Often looks like he’s going to lose the ball or getting past defenders with deflections etc.

Wonder if we’ll see him in the Charity Shield at weekend.

I don't necessarily think Ngumoha is primed for an explosion this season either but I do think he's made a lot of progress in terms of combining with his teammates out wide, not over-dribbling etc. I think he should get a fairly solid amount of minutes in the League Cup and FA Cup so it'll be interesting to see how he gets on. He's still raw but I think he's in a very good place developmentally.

It’s a tricky one, a lot of Arsenal fans on social media are saying they actually need Dowman now and watching that game I kind of agree. Apart from him they lack a player to really break out of the tippy tappy stuff around the box and make things happen. If I was Arteta I’d be using him as an impact sub from the first game. Given the amount of game time he’s got in pre-season it’s looking increasingly likely that’ll happen.

Looked a very, very soft penalty. Did someone bang a door? Keep doing that and he'll get a bad reputation.

Would be very interesting if he actually does break through at 15 but obviously can't sign a pro deal for another 1 and a half seasons. Would get some insane record-breaking contract offers from City and Chelsea on his 17th birthday which would be a day before the January 2027 transfer window opens

We will probably be moaning about Arteta overplaying him in a few months. Arteta is a bit reckless with players.
