For his England goal recently you could see that burst of acceleration. Definitely his father’s son. Seth Ridgeon is an eye-catching runner, inc with ball-at-feet https://t.co/AYYqSksGeA pic.twitter.com/1HX9pBtSM1— The Next Wave (@_TheNextWave_) September 23, 2024

Some really promising players in this group, hopefully we can get another good look at them in qualification in Malta (providing its streamed) in a few weeks.
I endorse winning. There's no obligation on players to ride fouls. If he goes down that's a pen, even with VAR.
That City side looked top draw, anybody wish to discuss the merits of leaving the European Union in relation to City’s 100% English line up? Brexit was the best thing ever to happen to English football and reverses Bosman in the 90s that crippled it.
I think the jury's still out on whether or not Brexit turns out to be good, bad or not really that impactful on the national team. I don't know if enough time has elapsed to make that determination yet. I think the decreased competition level in the PL2/U18 PL and the hoarding of talent by the top Cat 1 academies could yet turn out to be detrimental. There are probably ways to fix the latter though.
There’s a long list of international honours since 2016. I’m not certain of the nationalities of some of the Man United PL2 team but Fitzgerald, Armer, Mantato, Fletcher, Baumann look to be going in the same direction. Very very promising.
Brexit only really came into practice in 2020, so we've still a bit of a way to go I think. I think it would be helpful if our youngsters were able to move to Europe a bit more freely too. Time will tell I suppose.
You’ve got to ask who in England was willing to play Gomes as a sitter so definite benefits on going abroad.
