3 of the goals were pens. Free-kick from Howell as well, so actually only one goal from open play. https://www.englandfootball.com/art...-mens-under-17-v-mexico-match-report-20240409
Tell a lie, they are there. For some reason Germany had removed all mention of them, including the fixtures, from their website so I assumed they had pulled out.
It is probably to limit the risk of issues arising at games when there is very little security. Let’s just say it is hard to host Israel in sporting events in Western Europe.
It's an investigation method used before any academy player can be registered and approximately takes around 25 days to be completed. Step 1: The new club submits a signed registration form to the Premier League. Step 2: The Premier League appoints an independent third party to conduct “exit interviews” with the player, parents and both clubs. However, further interviews or requests for information are also permitted. Step 3: The two clubs involved in the agreement, including the player’s parents, are required to sign a declaration that no financial or value-in-kind inducements have been utilised as a part of the move (including contra deals). Step 4: Through the independent third party, a report is then produced for the Premier League’s board, coming up with a recommendation regarding the club’s application to register the player. Step 5: The Premier League’s board can either approve or reject the registration application. They also have the autonomy to take disciplinary against the club if they were found to breach their youth development rules.

HT 1-0 Germany Could have been 3-0 down with how Germany started the game but has leveled out a bit now albeit still quite scrappy.
Only saw the last 15 but England looked the better side at least then. Germany were punting it long a lot of the time with some success.
Saw the last 20 mins and looked like we were the better team, players with a better skill set getting hacked down by the Germans. However, just not happening in the final third and seems like we don’t want to shoot from outside the box which seems common at most age groups these days.
Liked the look of Ridgeon very dynamic, as mentioned very shaky start, but controlled it mostly for the last 25 mins of the half.
There's a lot of talk about the attackers in this group but at the last u16 tournament Ridgeon won best player.
Finished 3-1 win to us. Really good value to be winning 2-1 but then things got a bit messy all round, probably due to all the changes but some really promising kids in this age group.
