Yeah, he's absolutely rapid. According to the site below he had the 4th fastest time 200m in the country at his age group in 2022. https://www.thepowerof10.info/rankings/rankinglist.aspx?event=200&agegroup=U15&sex=M&year=2022 Funnily enough #2, Joseph Wheeler-Henry, is at Chelsea.
Interesting cheers. It casts some doubt on the idea that he's going to get levelled out when others catch up to him growth wise.
15-year-old Chelsea and England U16 Rio Ngumoha came on for his u18 debut today…He came on in the 86th minute and changed the game 💥👏As we said…one to watch 🏴 https://t.co/CQgCZodU3z pic.twitter.com/QOMymtIPNA— TheSecretScout (@TheSecretScout_) December 19, 2023
BOOM 💥 Understand Claudio Echeverri is close to joining Manchester City. 🗣️ Close source to TSS said he is the next ‘generational number 10, there is nobody better at his age’ Follows our breaking news of them signing 15-year-old Finlay Gorman from Leeds #MCFC pic.twitter.com/8RwWxdyqwF— TheSecretScout (@TheSecretScout_) December 24, 2023 City now have Bobb, Echeverri and Gorman as U21s in the 10 position. Turning into Chelsea with the stockpiling.
Bobb is now a senior player so it’s only the last two playing youth football. Still maybe not a good move for Gorman.
Foden, Palmer and McAtee all got good educations at City and it's been fine for their career at varying but relatively high levels.
England will not be attending the 2024 Montaigu Tournament. Ignoring 2021 (which I think we missed because of COVID) the last time England did not attend was all the way back in 1996. Not sure what the reason is, if any, but it's a real shame because for me this is by far the best tournament at this age group in terms of the quality and diversity of opponent they come up against. Plus, the games being streamed is always nice.
FA incompetence at their best if that’s the case!! If it’s cutbacks then they really need a big kick up the ass! I mean they still haven’t collected the millions ( billions ) that’s owed to them from the Premier League which they agreed from day one which they still haven’t collected for some reason! The English FA should be the richest FA on the planet but have been poorly run for too long with no backbone.
Surely it's not cutbacks. Bloody Wales are going. It can't require that many resources to attend if the likes of Ivory Coast and Czech Republic can afford to go.
I wonder if they have other plans. The pitches at the tournament are terrible too, they might want to move away from that.
For me one of the exciting prospects at Man United is u16 Amir Ibragimov. Back after injury this was his free-kick against Liverpool 🔴 #mufc https://t.co/vzCuVVVGPk pic.twitter.com/tcQ2Ws27dd— TheSecretScout (@TheSecretScout_) January 6, 2024
Brighton’s 15-year-old Harry Howell scoring winning penalty against Reading . Left footed attacking midfielder. Exceptional potential, One of the best in England pic.twitter.com/rtHaNXasPm— TheSecretScout (@TheSecretScout_) January 11, 2024
Watched some Finley Gorman to see if the hype is real. Yeah, that’s a talent, very reminiscent of Florian Wirtz. Controls flow of the game from tight half spaces, intelligent, technical, graceful. Not surprised people are already spending millions on him. Looks like the n10 positional player isn’t quite finished yet. I rate him even higher than Mikey Moore, who I rate higher than Shea Lacey. And that Harry Howell above is very quick and very tidy. golden generation potential here.
Are we adding this lad as well? Amir Ibragimov scored all FOUR goals as Man Utd's U16s beat Newcastle's U16s 4-1 today. This is him in a shooting drill.Special talent. Remember the name. 🌟🔥pic.twitter.com/WPorXI3zoc— UF (@UtdFaithfuls) January 13, 2024 I notice his younger brother Gazik has been involved with England recently too while his youngest brother Mo is also at United.
With him we not sure if he has a British passport yet - without that he wouldn’t be eligible for competitive matches.
How long has he been in England for now? Surely he qualifies by now as seems to have been around for ages.
Since about 2015/2016. But he arrived as a refugee it seems and it can take longer in those circumstances.
Amir Ibragimov’s 4 goals vs Newcastle U16s Some mental goals in there pic.twitter.com/7C20YWPBwQ— Academy Arena (@academyarenaUTD) January 14, 2024
I am sure I have read that before somewhere but I can’t find it. I know a lot of the people in England from Dagestan would be refugees through, ,

Like Rooney, who grew up around a boxing family, his brother is a professional MMA fighter, which might explain the similarities in physique.
