Raul Vancea has been called up to Romania's U16s for the first time. Igor Tyjon is also at the same tournament with Poland.

Less than two months ago those two were England teammates.

Tyjon scored twice on his Poland debut against Denmark today.

Apparently got an assist and won the penalty for Arsenal today in their 2-1 win over Spurs.

Finished 3-2 to Spurs! Dowman was probably Arsenals best player, Obi was also impressive bit of a physical beast at this level (reminds me of Tammy Abraham) will be interesting how he uses those attributes at a higher level.

Bydield and Hardy were good for Spurs.

    Sounds like a mad ending!

Early days but Dowman could be the best English talent since Bellingham. He really is being fast tracked by Arsenal and we could may see him following a Yamal kind of trajectory. His dribbling actually reminds me a bit of Yamal.

Don't know if he's ever gone to any of the GK camps but Sam Archer was excellent today in goal for Spurs.

Junai Byfield dealt with the threat of Obi very well in the U18s NLD on the weekend,

Might be tricky to keep him with England if he moves abroad.

Boggles the mind that they don't think Southampton in The Championship is a good platform for him.

It does kind of tie in with that article claiming that a lot of scouts don't rate him, perceiving him to be a flat track bully at youth level due to his physicality.

Good enough to be playing u21 football already. Think he won 2 or 3 penalties for them in those 6 apps as well.

Found some clips of the lad from 22/23 season and the 23/24 season:

Arsenal would seem a strange move given just how poor Arteta has been at integrating youth players the last few years. Last season the only minutes anyone under 22 was a cameo sub from Nwaneri in one game, and Charles Sagoe started one league cup game. By far the worst of any team in the league.

Time to start using the new age groups for the coming season -
    England U15 - 2010 born
    England U16 - 2009 born
    England U17 - 2008 born
    England U18 - 2007 born
    England U19 - 2006 born
England U20 - Elite Squad - Mixed age range. Potentially 2003-2006 born
    England U21 - 2002+ born

With all the talk of players moving, I have a question. Hopefully someone can answer.
How is it that a selling club may not able to agree a fee with a buying club for a player but will still have to go to tribunal and the player will still move? And is this only applicable for U16s going into U18s?

Can someone please explain to me how a bidding club can have a fee rejected for a player but that player still wants to that bidding club and then it goes to tribunal? I’m confused, is the power with the player or the bidding club? Is the club the player is registered with powerless?

Yes, pretty much. You can't have these businesses holding under age kids hostage.

Does anyone know why going abroad and paying compensation for a player is cheaper than if a player is moving to another club in the same country?

Doe anyone know when the U16 squad for the games in Italy at the end of the month are announced? There's very little I can find online about these games.

Probably not at all. They only do official announcements for u17 up. England youth followers on Twitter usually announce these squads.
