If Henderson can get a few more starts then Pickford, Henderson and Ramsdale is a good three.

In term of wildcards, I agree with the ones you mentioned except Madueke. Also think that Skipp is only an injury to Phillips away from a call up.

I wonder what the odds are that Southgate picks a Squad with quite a few injury concerns, who will predictably pull out during the first few days after meeting up but Southgate won’t call up any replacements. I just don’t see the need to call up players for this International break if they are carrying injuries because we have more than enough good backup players to cope without some of our mainstay players and let them recover with their Clubs.

Five years today since the Allardyce story broke.
For all of the criticisms of Southgate, does anyone think Allardyce would have accomplished anything close to what we have done since then?

No. We would probably been out at the group stage in both tournaments

Probably not but there's no way he would've let Jamaica snaffle Antonio!!

We don't need him anyway. He only really came into form last season and he was already pushing 30 then. We have much better options up front then him.

No, since he is foreign in football terms.

We didn't have George Best so we shouldn't have Brendan Rodgers.

    I disagree, he is
Much more attack minded and can be as physical and hard working

but I feel he has more final third quality than mount in terms of creation

Trent supposedly out for Liverpool tonight. If he's missing and no reece james then that leaves us with just walker and trippier at right back with trippier probably being on the left. So perhaps matty cash or awb? They'll probably be all fit anyway

Ayling was linked with a place in the squad previously, and there's Wan-Bissaka and Aarons as well.

Going to be an interesting Squad on Thursday judging by the players that are possibly going to miss out due to injury. So from what I’m aware, possible players to miss out are TAA, Shaw, Maguire, Stones, Mount. Anyone else I’m missing who was picked last time that might be a doubt? However, if Maguire and Stones are out that leaves two new centre backs needed but I wouldn’t be surprised if he picks five overall since we were a bit light on the match with Poland with only Coady fit that was on the bench. My three picks with Coady and Mings ( who won’t be dropped whether we like it or not ) would be Tomori, White and probably Konsa, or a wild card in Hause who seems to have been playing very well for Villa lately.
