Standard Talksport fare. A wacky opinion to get people riled up. Jones has played 3 Premier League games for United in the past 3 seasons. If he makes the World Cup it will be one of the great comebacks but it seems unlikely that his body will hold up, especially with the way he plays.

Can’t quite work out the crack with Joe Gomez these days. Never starts a league game for Liverpool it seems and doesn’t seem to even play in Cup games against weaker opponents when you would have thought he would get a chance. Is he just not fit or something or just not trusted anymore? Find it odd what’s happening to him and for his own sake, if he is fit and ready he should maybe request a transfer or loan somewhere.

 

I see a lot of comments and tweets from Liverpool fans wanting him to play so I think he is fit and it’s just not trusted anymore.

they'll be linked to everyone, I'd have him on loan at Leicester for the rest of the season, we've only 1 senior CB available

 

He won’t be short of options unless his pre injury form has fallen off a cliff which I would doubt but just not seen enough of him to know. Leicester would be a good option though, especially on loan and would make sense all around. Just hope we won’t be talking about another wasted football career in 5 years time because he was happy warming the bench for a big Club instead of being hungry to play for another Club to get back to the top of his game.

Missed the last two games but played in the previous six games. He missed three games previous to that point but was ever present before that. Nothing to worry about here though as he’s currently ill, maybe Covid idk.
