Agree, winks is much more suited to international football than dier or rice in midfield

 

Is that Harry Kane or Teddy Sheringham.

 

4 assists now. Brilliant ball from kane. Hes the best all round forward in the world for me. Lewondovski is better but not as good as an all round forward

 

We may as well move Kane into centre midfield after today

 

I was thinking shades of Glen Hoddle .. . Glen was the master of longer passes though

 

On his day Kane is the complete forward.

 

Kane gets written off/ questioned, (by the press and social media and this forum) if he has a string of 2 or 3 mediocre games, people won’t learn, I suspect this will happen again in November.

 

Not me. Kane for me will always be in the top 5 forwards in the world

Kane has got nearly 200 spurs goals in just over 6 seasons. If that's not phenomenal I don't know what is

 

Could you imagine the player Rooney would have become if he'd had Kanes dedication.

 

Lamptey is playing out of his skin early doors this season. Southgate could go to his 3-5-2 again with him in the side. Controversial opinion but TAA is too bad of a defender for England. A garden gnome could dribble him. Coady also plays the 3-5-2 at club level and it would suit Chilwell on the left. Maguire, Gomez and Coady in the 3.

 

Lamptey is a star for the future. A bit early for him. Taa is undoubtedly the best attacking fullback in world football. There's also reece James who deserves a chance

 

What is it with England and right backs/wing backs lol.

Only when it suits your agenda, I doubt you would be saying the same thing if Grealish has four assists today instead of Kane.

 

By all accounts lamptey has been exceptional again. I know i said earlier its a bit too soon but I'm terrified of losing him to another country a bit like saka. Love to see those two as wing backs for England. Such a shame that so many young English talent is always trying to be taken away. We need southgate to keep in close contact with these kids to let them know they are in his thoughts. Hate another Zaha situation

 

I think we're safe with lamptey to be fair. Ghana aren't a very good football side so I can't see the attraction for an English player to move to them. Plus, if he carries on as he is, Southgate definitely won't ignore him.
If he were Nigerian like saka, I'd worry abit but I think he's ours.

As I say I’m not a Kane lover ...

I’m sure there are some players you don’t rate as being world class or tremendously gifted that would have some people gasping ... if you were honest ..

 

Would you rate pogba as world class even though he flatters to deceive often? Or ramos even though he's a liability? So many examples. Mbappe is another one who never turns up in big games the world Cup final aside. Kane is a proven world class finisher
