He was never going to start 3 games in 10 days this soon after return. If Tuchel had half a brain he’d understand that, and it wouldb’t be a factor for a World Cup starting in a month, one way or the other.
I mean the fact he and Stones are both players who can’t play every minute if needed could could one of them.
Yeah, 3 games in 10 after his season would be too much, needs to be eased back in but still not sure if that will influence Tuchel or not whether to pick him but no doubt he will be speaking to the medical staff at Chelsea and know his situation on whether he can manage the work load for a World Cup. I obviously want him to go but I have my doubts.’
I think he'll take stones and leave colwill behind. I can't see him taking two fitness doubts. Which is a shame as I'd rather take colwill
So the last day of the season could end up being about Europa League places and whether Spurs can get a point.
Sky will be hoping things don’t at least change at Stamford Bridge - both for Sunday but also Chelsea in Europe benefits them due to all the Sunday matches.
If Spurs get a point tonight then it's going to be a hard sell of "Will Bournemouth get a point to clinch 6th place?" and "Can West Ham score 15?"
Thought I'd just say, biased and all that, but Scott is straight up a better all round player than Wharton. So, Liverpool vs Brentford, Man City vs Villa, Forest vs Bournemouth. If Bournemouth don't lose, Liverpool win, and Villa lose, which it's Guardiola's last game and they have the final it's likely they'll rest everyone... Villa winning the europa league final would mean Bournemouth are in the champions league next season.
If Villa fnish fourth I don't think that extra place drops to sixth. If they finish fifth it will. Is that what you are saying ?
If Liverpool win and Villa lose, Villa will finish 5th. Yes, the extra champions league place does drop to 6th specifically if Villa finish 5th.
Given all are creative midfielders have even injured this season, I can assure you he is exactly what we need.
He's been as effective for Spurs in the last three months as he was for Leicester in the last three months when we went down in whatever year it was. There have been a few recently
I don't know how refs are expected to deal with this sort of carnage at set pieces. Something needs to change.
