reinforces by Burn will get called up hell if we win the WC playing like Arsenal - i certainly wont mind.
Harry Kane's hat-trick at the weekend takes him to 501 goals at the top level of the game. He becomes the 28th player in history to achieve that feat.
🚨 Lautaro Martínez: "Harry Kane is the best striker in the world. I even put him above Haaland because of how he controls the ball, links up play, reads the game, and his heading ability. He is a phenomenon.” @Gazzetta_it pic.twitter.com/vUn8CDkpmf— All About Argentina 🛎🇦🇷 (@AlbicelesteTalk) May 18, 2026
Returning Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho wants to sign England forward Marcus Rashford, 28, who is on loan at La Liga champions Barcelona from Manchester United. (Sport - in Spanish) England centre-back Levi Colwill, 23, is not currently in talks over an improved contract at Chelsea, however, discussions could resume in the summer. (Sky Sports), external English goalkeeper Tom Heaton, 40, is poised to sign a one-year contract extension to stay at Manchester United for a sixth season. (Mirror)
It would be wild for Rashford to get a transfer to Madrid after a season at Barca. It seems possible and I wouldn't be surprised to see Mourinho get a couple of English players in.
That would be your dream transfer Rover. I think Mourinho is a manager to go after players that he knows like Rashford. He tends to like big strong players as well so I'm not sure that Wharton fits that bill but you never know.
Sounds like the kind of transfer rumour you put out there if you want to signal that a left winger or two may be leaving.
After all those hundreds of updates you posted on here (daily) regarding Rashfords situation at Barcelona, he might end up at Real Madrid..

Just look at the cup goals that the Irish players scored. They were often playing in 4 or 5 domestic cups each year, and sometimes against absolute minnows.
Jarrod Bowen will be a target for Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United if West Ham go down https://t.co/sTlA2rdGBH— Jacob Steinberg (@JacobSteinberg) May 19, 2026
Smith, Hill, Scott and Tavernier start for Bournemouth. Cook is on the bench. Guehi and O’Reilly start for Manchester City. Trafford, Stones and Foden are on the bench.
Normally I'd say it's the right move for the Chelsea manager to rest colwill but this is a huge few days for tuchel to look at him. I think it's a poor decision from colwill's perspective
I think this could cost Colwill. Tuchel will surely be worried about having both him and fitness issue Stones.
Acheampong, Palmer and Delap start for Chelsea. Chalobah, James, Derry, Mheuka and Kavuma-McQueen are on the bench. Gallagher starts for Spurs. Spence, Maddison and Gray are on the bench.
Yeah that’s not good timing for Colwill, does anyone know the reason for him being out of the squad? If it’s McFarlands decision then that might cost him a place in the World Cup but on the flip side, it might just have come too late for him anyway and maybe without my England glasses on, it’s probably right not to rush him back after the season he’s had with the injury.
