Keeper mistake but it's been coming for Wharton. He's been unlucky a few times with some nearly goals.

His potential as a goalscoring midfielder is good. You could see at Rovers he was a good finisher inside the box and good at making third man runs. Clearly a decent shooter from distance too.

It might take him a while to get there because of how he's been labelled early in his career but I think eventually he'll settle further up the pitch. I don't think he's at his best in deep areas.

 

Is the fact Gordon can't get in the Newcastle team an indicator he's definitely on his way to bayern or is howe being a baby getting out of his pram?
