Imagine Nottingham Forest won the Europa League and got relegated In the same season. They'd be playing Oxford United at the weekend and bayern Munich during midweek
Oliver Glasner says that Adam Wharton had to come off after he felt his adductor. “That’s why he had to leave the England camp last week so let’s see how bad it is.”— Ed Aarons (@ed_aarons) April 16, 2026
Just saw the Villa highlights and it stood out that Rogers telegraphs his shot very clearly when taking a penalty. Opens his body early, plants his foot that makes it obvious which side he's going to shoot etc. I've noticed some players are excellent strikers of a ball and often excel at shooting from distance - but this doesn't always necessarily make them good candidates for taking a penalty. And goes a way of explaining why some players surprisingly (who shouldn't, but do) have a good record in spot kicks, like some CB's.

I was never his biggest fan, but why did Conor Gallagher even go from Athletico to Spurs. It wasn't as if he was rotting in the reserves in Spain, he was doing alright from what I remember. It has to be one of the most bizarre moves I've seen a player make in a while.
Can't understand why atleti sold him. He was always a good impact player for them. And scored some crucial goals
Spurs offered back near enough the same money Athletico paid for him from Chelsea So he probably chose to leave
🚨 Mikel Arteta has confirmed Bukayo Saka remains unavailable & will NOT face Manchester City on Sunday. 🤕❌🗣️ “Bukayo is OUT, that’s for sure. He’s just starting to do some stuff, so let’s see that progression & then wait, but at the moment, it’s not about that.” pic.twitter.com/IjIoNaBt6j— afcstuff (@afcstuff) April 17, 2026 This achilles tendinopathy seems a very delicate injury. Chances of him being at his best at the World Cup don't seem that high
Yeah it's looking grim. Feels like his body is falling apart now. Our winger options are looking a bit naff without him imo. Nowhere near enough creativity or 1v1 ability. This is where you look at taking a wildcard option like Dowman or Ngumoha for me. You're just not going to get enough top quality wide play from Rashford/Gordon/Bowen/Madueke. Looks really thin for a "top" team to me.
We need to win the world cup so Kane gets Ballon D'Or. Or Kane could do it all himself I don't mind...
My faith in the England team is pretty low right now. Too many players look out of form. Injuries. A coach who is losing the plot a bit. This has the makings of 2010
Saka's been dealing with an achilles problem for years. Seems at least fairly likely it's the same issue flaring up again, which is concerning if he's been carrying it for all this time. Add to that he's had a serious hamstring injury (which is still flaring up) and a persistent hip injury that's been bothering him and it feels like what we all predicted is finally coming to pass after years of being run into the ground by Arteta.
I'm expecting Fireburn to say the arsenal fans will blame it on England and that all football fans want international football to be banned
I don’t see Tuchel going for either of those. Players like Gibbs-White or even Mount are more likely along with those mentioned.
