I hope he was. I didn’t watch tonight but I’ve seen comments saying the TNT commentary team weee dull of prise for him and didn’t sound in any subdued about him.

He's probably the player I'm most curious about. Need to see him in the PL. He's not a top end athlete but he's mobile and the fact he can perform in leagues as physical as the Championship and Ligue 1 bodes well. How good he is off the ball will probably determine how far he goes because he's as good as anyone we've got on the ball.
Manchester United are ready to open contract talks with 20-year-old England midfielder Kobbie Mainoo. (Sky Sports) Chelsea great Marcel Desailly believes Cole Palmer could hand in a transfer request if he doesn't think the Blues can claim Premier League glory inside the next two years - Daily Mirror.
That has basically been 'made up' by the press based on something an ex-player said - and it has all come about because somebody thought he wasn't smiling enough when he last played! He is under contract until 2033, there is no chance Chelsea are going to sell their best player unless 1. His ability/form falls off a cliff or 2. An astranomically huge & stupid amount of money is waved in front of Egbhali's face for him. This is just wishful thinking by the United brigade I'm afraid!
Not really that high on Spence as a left back myself, hes solid defensively but he offers very little going forward. With hall, O'Reilly and Shaw around and playing no reason he should be making the england squad. As a right back maybe more opportunities depending on injuries. With that said I really don't understand why Spurs would be after robertson, he has clearly declined a lot and a chief reason of that being he doesn't have the engine he once did, which was always chief among his qualities. Not the kind of thing changing club is going to bring back. Seems one of those signings a club will get lumbered with a big wage player.
