The press in this country are a disgrace. I'll never forget the time they did a sting operation on our 2018 world cup bid.

The FA were not uspet by that. They didn’t want him but were unable to really go for anyone else.

Tried to find the clip but sky sports have deleted it probably due to the backlash directed at the journalist. I wouldn't like to see Bellinghams dad Phone bill this month.

 

Papers whipping up a frenzy because they are bored.

Still maintain the best way to utilise Bellingham is as a bench option tho.

Try maybe Foden or Rogers as the 10 for 65 mins and Bellinghams energy and power to finish the game could be effective and I will stand by that.

Finishing strong in a sporting match matters a great deal. You can control the events at the end of the game far better in that scenario.

I don’t think Rogers makes a good bench option but is a good starting option for example.

Winter is maybe one of the better ones, but that's still not saying much imo. Always been keen on championing his favourites. Remember was a massive advocate for the dumb Trent in midfield experiment. Best of a bad bunch. But yeh, for me it's no coincidence that 2018 resurgence and world cup run came at a time when media hype and pressure was at its lowest for years after the Iceland debacle. Believe the media have been the biggest obstacle to success in my lifetime.
