    Kane scores.

Fringe players have been awful generally.

Bellingham is an impact midfielder not a starter.

Kane with the long range shot if by long range you mean 3 yards.

IMO Madueke takes Bowen's spot when fit. He just isn't good enough at this level I agree with roverman here.

Burn is so bad on the ball, hopefully Tuchel wakes up and realises. Maguire would be a massive upgrade on him.

Quite a few.players have been off, Wharton for me didn't have a great game and didn't show enough for the ball

Looking at this Anderson is England's key player.

One more goal for Kane and he moves level with Neymar and Godfrey Chitalu with the 10th most in international football.
Next in his sights, some guy called Puskas.

What was it someone said the other day that Bellingham's brother was protesting about something? I didn't really catch what the problem was.

I only ask because it looks like the lad seems out of sorts.

Wharton did OK but the performance also kinda demonstrated how good Anderson is. He is probably a better forward passer than Wharton, even if he doesn't look as silky.

Difficult to say on this showing but Wharton didn't look like someone fighting for a world cup spot. Looked very casual and not showing for the ball which is a shame.

Anderson’s involvements are much higher, much more frequent. He wants to be on the ball.

Wharton feels a luxury player who’s brilliant on the ball, or he doesn’t go looking for the ball.

Anderson is a swiss army knife and Wharton is a scalpel.

    Rogers starts ahead.

Rogers, Gordon and Madueke is when we look at our best.

Saka, Bellingham, Foden from the bench is lethal.

Wharton works well in the Palace system where he has someone alongside him.
Rice and Bellingham were both playing in front of him here, so he looked a little isolated.

That's always been one of my criticisms of him. He hides to much. A player of his quality should be demanding the ball

Wharton was crowded out in the first 50 odd minutes. plain as day to see him always wanting to play forward when he got on the ball. encourage us to hold judgment based on this game.
