Telegraph suggesting Bellingham might not be recalled while listing Loftus-Cheek, Watkins and Bowen as players at risk for dropping out. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...ham-thomas-tuchel-miss-liverpool-real-madrid/
Why? Just because he isn’t there at Anfield to watch him tonight? I’m sure he will be watching or re-watch it when he can.
The way they all going on I think some genuinely think he is being left out in Friday. The Telegraph and Times are not clickbait papers yet both have done articles about Tuchel not going to Anfield tonight (And these articles feel like briefing as both also talk about Welbeck in and Watkins and Bowen out) Do England managers ever go to Anfield?
How the ******** would the journalists know that Bellingham is being left out. They're all bellends. The only one who champions Bellingham is Henry winter
What’s the quote from Law? suggesting Bellingham isn’t going to be squad, can read it as it behind a paywall
‘Bellingham has made a strong case for an England recall by scoring in three successive Madrid games, but the absence of Tuchel and Barry at Anfield will fuel speculation over the midfielder’s possible recall and immediate international future.’
So he’s saying it will fuel speculation instead of offering anything substantive. You see the difference to what you said?
We go through this ad nauseum but none of the journalists have a clue about squad selections or line ups as has been proven again and again. There is no inside line. Reminds me when TAA surprisingly got dropped - which none of the journos predicted - before euro 2020 and then for the next 2 months there were articles about how taa wasn't going to make it, then it emerged after he was picked that Southgate had told him very early he was in the squad. The reality is journalists are governed by the clicks they can generate. if there's no story they need to manufacture one, and when it's an international break there's only england to report on. They will milk the Bellingham well till it's dry.
Harry kane will get criticism from some melts because he hasn't scored tonight but he's led the line brilliantly

If Newcastle Chelsea and City win tonight we could have potentially 6 of the 8 clubs in the automatic places could be English
I’m not sure how to take these comments. They don’t come across as if Bellingham is confident of being recalled to me. https://talksport.com/football/3706...trent-alexander-arnold-real-madrid-liverpool/
Manchester United are willing to let 25-year-old England winger Jadon Sancho, who is on loan at Aston Villa, leave on a free transfer next summer. (Talksport), external Manchester United will step up their pursuit of Nottingham Forest’s England midfielder Elliot Anderson in January, with the Red Devils believing the 22-year-old is "very keen" on a move to Old Trafford. (Teamtalk) Everton will not sell £70m-rated England defender Jarrad Branthwaite in January, despite interest from Manchester United in the 23-year-old. (Teamtalk) Wembley Stadium is in the running to be the venue for the 2029 Champions League final but could be preferred the following year to allow Barcelona's Camp Nou to get the nod instead - The Times Barcelona have a £28m purchase option for loanee Marcus Rashford - significantly lower than the £40m Manchester United would demand from other interested parties - Daily Mirror
Just take them at face value, there's no subtle messaging involved here. He was asked if he's confident about being recalled and said, "I would love to be but it's not my call. I'll be waiting to see." I'm not sure what else he's meant to say there. He can't really say "yes" so this is the best possible answer he can give.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...ecomm_id=bc129c49-a1ce-4191-bd11-36adfbc5c1ef Anthony Gordon could be dropped by Tuchel due to possibly losing his place at Newcastle to Harvey Barnes predicts the Telegraph
The fact they've actually printed that is obscene. Anthony Gordon has started every single league and Champions League game for Newcastle since returning from suspension after his red card against Liverpool. The only games Harvey Barnes has started have been EFL Cup games. I wouldn't expect a secondary school teenager on work experience to make an error like this. Incidentally though I'd bet your average year 10 lad could make a more accurate England squad prediction for Friday than pretty much every single Telegraph writer on the payroll.
The telegraph are reporting that Harry kane is likely to be dropped from the squad because he hasn't scored in his last 2 bayern games. He's likely to be replaced with Harry maguire as an emergency striker
Yeah was just about to say, I’m not sure how Acheampong isn’t starting for Chelsea. Maresca really seems to make some odd calls.
